mailorder update: 01.11.2011

tapes

Rags "s/t" tape
The debut demo tape of this satanic compendium of brutal horrid sounds. Raw & black / noise ritual. Perpetual hate, nothing can compare. [triangulum ignis]

5" records

hatewave "the tombs" 5"
HATEWAVES return with a new six song ep of blast beat ridden hardcore with obnoxiously heavy mosh parts. Taste the beast. [rsr a389]

7" records

性交 7"
Florida's 性交 worship at the altar of early Japanese Punk and HC in the vein of the more HC ADK bands. A lo-fi recording gives this record extra punch; the galloping drums, dissonant guitars, and savage tormented vocals make the 5 songs presented here truly unforgettable. [video disease records]

bastard "controlled in the frame" 7"
Absolutely PERFECT official reissue of this fucking Japanese hardcore monster. This legit reissue is just great though. The packaging is more or less a replication of the original, though with a couple of slight tweaks (all upgraded), and rather than the original's printed sleeve, this has a gorgeous black gluepocket sleeve with metallic silver ink. Seriously, I would keep one of these even if I had an original. [540 records]

birth ritual "witching metal" 7"
putting their demo out as a 7" e.p. raw venom worship with nwobhm guitar riffs or something. from japan. [tadpole records]

Cervix "Life Fucker" 7"
Debut 7" from this much talked about NYC band. They take their cues from late 80's UK metallic hardcore, and mix it with early Japanese hardcore. Scathing, reverb drenched vocals that sound like a howling banshee out for blood. This record is for true hardcore freaks only. [video disease records]

haemorrhage/dead infection split 7"
A union of two Gore Grind legends! Exclusive songs from both bands! [fat ass records]

mülltüte "s/t" 7"
After the brilliant first single tape now! This is PUNK!? The debut 7inch from the relatively new Berlin 2 piece playing wild and frantic hardcorepunk. Killer shit! [self released]

negative lifestyle flexi 7"
4 brand new songs from this Swedish three piece. This release is a killer for sure. Pop songs which comes out as pure hardcore! Clear plastic. Limited to 250 copies! [signaler från ovan]

ネメシス (NEMESIS) • 慟哭 (Dou-Koku) 7"
Hailing from Fukuoka, Japan, NEMESIS (ネメシス) is a young band taking cues from UK hardcore punk but played with the speed and intensity of early WARHEAD / NIGHTMARE, with an underlying Kyushu twist that brings homemates KURO to mind. Aggressive vocals, gang choruses, noisy guitars and intense drumming: unmistakably Japanese, this band carries on in the tradition of the Selfish / Blood Sucker / Discrete Records roster. 4 tracks that go for the throat. Pure and raw energy.

neo cons "hardcore elite" 7"
This brand new 7" single from Neo Cons was recorded in the same session as their debut EP on Deranged. The A side is a mid-paced hardcore stomper titled, “Hardcore Elite”, and is backed with a cover song from Dutch legends Jezus and the Gospelfuckers/Agent Orange – “Kill The Police”. Raw, snotty, catchy hardcore punk from the Bay Area. [abscess records]

pig heart transplant/the endless blockade split 7"
Sludged out noise meets noised out powerviolence. PHT is Jon Iron Lung plus chums. TEB are ex-Shank and this is their swansong. 545 copies all on black with 3-panel sleeve. Art by Feeding. Screened by Heavyrock. [superfi records]

punch "nothing lasts" 7"
PUNCH deliver 7 new songs of pure pummelage. This band just does not stop - constant touring, continuing to write killer new songs, and their campaign to bring the hammers of justice down upon fake hardcore - PUNCH is clearly redefining what it means to play good, fast, socially consciousness hardcore. The first track on this slab-o-thrash is "Do it yourself" sums it all up. Let's hope the title track does not portend things to come. In the meantime, don't sleep. this will surely go out of print soon. [625 records]

sänkt flexi 7"
Another great band from Umeå/Sweden, and also one of the best live acts right now! Six and a half minutes of early 80´s hardcore. Ex members of Ds-13 and current bands like Ux Vileheads. Clear plastic. Limited to 250 copies! [signaler från ovan]

smärtstillande flexi 7"
Smärtstillande from Stockholm plays 80´s HARDCORE Authentic and powerful, short fast and loud! Like a mix of The Middle Class and the Fix. This one comes on red plastic. Limited to 250 copies. [signaler från ovan]

state violence "s/t" 7"
State Violence is a hodge podge of members from every other band in DC, including Deathrats, Sick Fix, Hot Mess, and Lotus Fucker. With a demo that barely anyone in DC got their hands on to their name, State Violence plays a raw style of punk. This record is noisy at times and always raging. 7 songs in just as many minutes this record rips like the best. [hesitation wound records]

sutekh hexen "ordo adversarial" 7"
Restock! This 2 song 7" ep is a violent mix of blown out raw black metal guitars, psychedelic atmospheres, tortured screamed vocals and scathing white noise. Steeped heavily in the occult, Bled thy Likeness b/w Murmur take no cues from the derivative, watered down black metal that plagues the scene, but rather push the envelope and make their own path. Sutekh Hexen is about Satanism, and their songs express hatred and depression from the bowels of their blackened souls. These are ceremonial rituals drenched in the blood of the weak, this is cult, this is the Ordo Adversarial. Limited to 400 copies. [wands records]

systematic death "systema eight" 7"
Classic Japanese hardcore punk act that created some of the most ferocious thrash punk to ever dwell on this earth. Short, fast-paced, with odd twists! This 7" was released for their euro tour 2011. [way back when records]

trench rot 7"
Debut 7" from this new California band that had a ripping demo tape earlier this year. These guys play a style of hardcore that hits that perfect sweet spot between early USHC and classic European crust. I'm reminded not only of Totalitar's later stuff (though with more raw production), but also European informed USHC bands like Crucifix and Final Conflict. I haven't heard a lot of talk about these guys, but this is some absolutely killer shit that both the crusties and hardcore should love. [Do Some Harm Records]

unlearn "when the reaper" 7"
Just like you like it: raw and brutal Dbeat attack from Vancouver, Canada. A loud and noisy fury of raw punk levelling everything in their path. Vocals distorted in anguish and a wall of guitars tweaked to ear splitting frequencies held down with an impressive d-beat attack. These guys are definitely into Disclose and Meanwhile. A onslaught of pure distortion and maximum volume with guitar torture worthy of comparisons to the greats. [deranged]

wormrot/i abhor split 7"
Singapore grinders Wormrot, fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed full length debut, Abuse, are back with eight new tracks as part of a split with California’s I Abhor. For fans of Insect Warfare, Kill The Client, Nasum or Assuck. [fat ass records]

12" records

altars "eulogy" lp
Altars are a raw black metal band from Dayton, Ohio. This is a re-edition of a rehearsal tape (limited to 20) included in a diehard version of the "Live on pure hate" LP. Now released on vinyl. [triangulum ignis]

altars "live on pure hate" lp
Five tracks of black metal noise that further explores the metamorphosis of Altars. Abrupt and menacing. Recorded between August and December 2010 at Levelhead Studios by Jayson Hartings. Artwork by Alex York. Limited edition of 330 copies. [king of the monsters]

attack of the mad axeman "systematic death slaughter" lp
Animalgrind is Future and Future is now. In the first 4 years of their existence Attack of the mad Axeman have proven, that animals are unrenounceable for Grindcore in general – and that even without releasing a Split-EP with Agathocles or Unholy Grave. Now, "Systematic Death Slaughter" is their third Album and still these guys are sticking to the spirit of true Old School Grind. They deliver you 26 new songs that are straight to the point and as fast as snails and turtles can go. Although there's only three tracks starting with a snare countdown, this record has everything that decent Grindcore needs: good music and a message. Fuck Porngrind, better read this lyrics, they are fantastic! Attention: No frogs or pigs were harmed in the production of this record! [rsr records]

brainkiller "every state is corrupt" lp
Brain Killer was born to destroy the rotting body of authority! This band’s new album, Every Actual State Is Corrupt, is a dis-crust masterpiece; on the real, this Boston band is not to be messed with. The album is a perfect balance between killer freaking lyrics, crusty riffs, & primitive pounding drums that can wake up the sleeping giants. Brain Killer recorded 11 songs of ultra brutal dis-noize tunes that feed the masses the right diet of audio mayhem. [deranged records]

dead language "s/t" lp
20 minutes of pure, ear-crippling power violence played by members of IRON LUNG, SOLUTIONS, WALLS, PIG HEART TRANSPLANT and NO COMMENT. There will never be another like this. [iron lung records]

fuck on the beach "eat em 'all" lp
Eat em’ all LP - After 10 years from their 2nd album, finally they put long awaited 3rd full length out as 15th anniversary of FUCK ON THE BEACH. You can see their specific progress with their former fast and ferocious way at same time. They got various approach in song writing with new drummer Kimura, ex. VIVISICK now playing for tempest too. Twin vocal of Tsuyosy and Atsushi makes rolling on the songs with full of negative lyrics, FOB have been pursued their way to play in the way of japanese fast and noisy and they finally got that on this album. [rsr records]

neon blud "b girls" lp
Restock! Neon Blud's new 12" marks a new era for the band. While the influence is still present, Neon Blud relies less on Sonic Youth-worship than on that tape. Instead, the band opens up their aural palette to include a variety of newer influences. Neon Blud certainly divided fans of their past bands with what they were doing. B Girls won't change that, but I think that it's a better introduction to the band and is far more representative of what the band is doing these days. For those not especially moved by Whipps, I beg you to listen to B Girls. It's fantastic. [drugged conscience]

nerveskade "s/t" lp
The first full length from Portland’s newest generation of noise punks. 12 tracks of punishing manic hardcore punk that will leave your ears bleeding! [black water records]

no funeral "s/t" lp
Debut release from No Funeral , raw blackened punk. Limited to 350 copies. [wands records]

noir noir "v.i.t.r.i.o.l." lp
The debut LP from a one man black noise/ experimental project. V.I.T.R.I.O.L., a suggestive passage between pain, noise and darkness. [triangulum ignis]

snowblood "3rd" 2xlp
Snowblood were one of the greatest bands ever to come out of Scotland and the UK. Their live shows were legendary including immense passion, ridiculoid amounts of NANG bass, utterly crushing guitars, insane vocals and exploding gear. Their 3rd record has recently been released and having had a rip of this for quite some time I can tell you it is incredible. For those of you that know Snowblood and have the 1st and 2nd records, imagine the PERFECT melding of the best bits from those and you have it exactly and then some. If you like Neurosis, Mogwai or post-metal, post-rock in general then buy this record. [superfi records]

sutekh hexen "luciform" lp
Finally, the debut LP from California's Sutekh Hexen is upon us. Entitled Luciform, this LP will destroy your place of residency, so prepare to be homeless. Everything the band has done has been great, but this album is miles beyond their previous works. Droning, destructive, cacophonous atmospheres surround the wall of noise, which stands on a solid base of catchy, heavy riffs and screamed, face-melting vocals. There is a cosmic aura to the madness at hand on this LP; you'll feel yourself awash in the remnants of a dying star, about to be sucked in to the black hole - but you'll never get there, so your body and mind will have to cope with being torn apart for eternity. It feels as if Sutekh Hexen's previous work was leading us here all along, building up to finally present this blackened opus of primal darkness. Limited to 350 copies. [wands records]

.... and much more! stay tuned!!!!!

7" records

agathocles "peel sessions" 2x7"
Agathocles are the most authentic band into grindcore history! if you have not been locked in a cave in the last 30 years or more you will know who it was that great man by John Peel. Well, in 1997 these two legends met and what ensued IS HERE full and well documented. Just think about the 15 most essential AG songs shoot with their usual grift. The two vinyls are housed in a 18,5x24 "fake comic book" cover sheet that includes all the lyrics, the complete AG's discography and the story of this event in the words of Jan AG. This double 7inch comes in a limited edition of 500 copies. All the copies are handnumbered. [jennifer grind records]

amputee "s/t" 7"
AMPUTEE is a new US band consisting of CHAINSAW TO THE FACE and DOOMSDAY MACHINE SCHEMATIC members, hailing to old school grindcore and death metal bands especially ASSÜCK, REPULSION and TERRORIZER. AMPUTEE's 1st 7" after a demo is straight up blasting grindcore worship - so enjoy the grindness. [rsr]

bloodkrow butcher 7"
Raw d-beat from Boston, MA. Taking notes from early Swedish/UK hardcore in the sense that the songs are abrasive and catchy without any sort of modern frills.?[total fucker records]

blue holocaust/expurgo split 7"
Blue Holocaust is a one man project from France with just few releases on his back...but the sign he made on map is deep as the glimpse of a cleaver! Pierre (BH mastermind) do the most dirty, rotten and claustrophobic brutal gore available today with an amazing point of view who appears clearly and disturbing in his unique artwork. A shared tribute to the master of italian '60 horror movie director Mario Bava. 5 new songs distorted and abused like never before. Expurgo confirm all the promises made by their amazing debut CD. Old school grindcore touched by the evil hand of Gore. A strom of violence dances with rage, alienation and despair in 4 tracks till the "Infinito" collaps! Don't miss the change to put your hands and ears on one of the most interesting South-American bands - for the first time on vinyl! [zas records]

capitalist casualties/no comply split 7"
Both sides provide 90's powerviolence as played in the 90's for all obvious reasons. This is both a powerviolence DeLorean ride and something both bands are exceptionally proud of to this day. The Capitalist Casualties recording was taken and cleaned up off the original tape and mixed down. In fact, this is the same set, different songs, from the Live Butchery EP that is completely impossible to find. No Comply material is an equally amazing time capsule of music. The material was literally forgotten about and it happens to be an old studio recording of material that was going to be for a split with Charles Bronson on 625 Thrashcore in 1997. [to live a lie records]

chaos destroy/nekromantiker split 7"
For all the real noise heroes, a pairing of two of the world's shining stars of noise, bound by a love of raw fidelity and eccentric taste. This record sees Chaos Destroy in a transition period between the State Children worshiping shit noise punk of their early material and their current proclivity towards psych noise pop, to be seen on their upcoming LP. Bouncing pop bass lines fit into drill beats and distortion. Nekromantiker obviously studied their Confuse records well, but applied a Tokyo Sound System/New Smell sense of production, ie. piss raw, see bank officer for fidelity. Beautiful, just beautiful. As with all Chaos Destroy records, this is limited to 300. [sphc]

crazy spirit "i'm dead" 7"
Second 7" from the almighty CRAZY SPIRIT. Even more lofi and fuzzed out than the first 7", I LOVE this record!!! Really fuckin' catchy and manic punk/HC. Great punk done raw as fuck and it's punk as fuck. NYC style. This band includes members of Perdition and Dawn of Humans. [mata la musica records]

crude ss "who'll survive" 7"
Apart from a demo and numerous compilation tracks CRUDE SS officially released just one 7" EP. This appeared in 1983 on Uproar Records and has become an undisputed classic of Swedish hardcore. It carries six blasting tracks of unique, aggressive and furious hardcore punk thrash with clear roots in DISCHARGE, GBH and UK punk in genreral, but also with obvious influence of Californian CRUCIFIX etc. Raw sound, elaborated yet still straight forward riffs completed with angry English lyrics against arms race, capitalism, animal abuse or destruction of nature. Coming out after 28 years as a band authorised official reissue, its whole layout sticks as close as possible to the original issue, including such details as runout groove engravings or typing errors on labels. [voltage records]

cyborg/the afternoon gentleman split 7"
CYBORG from Chicago (features members of WEEKEND NACHOS) stick to the early power-violence sound like the earlier WEEKEND NACHOS releases. This is fast and energetic hardcore, between crude '90s fastcore and maniac grindcore. THE AFTERNOON GENTLEMEN can be called the UK's brutal answer to their split partner. Their "pissed again" 7" had awesome reviews comparing them to a whole slew of grind and power-violence bands (DESPISE YOU, HELLNATION, INSECT WARFARE, SPAZZ), all adequate comparisons. [rsr]

dispose/los rezios split 7"
Dispose are Swedens answer to Disclose, but not without some originality. It's raw punk to the bone and a must have if you're into that stuff. Los Rezios are darker but still just as raw and aggressive. Killer d-beat raw punk split! [dtakt&råpunk]

g.a.s.h./cleansing wave split flexi 7"
Raw punx from Boston and Worcester. Cool packaging! Limited to 250 copies! [total fucker records]

grinding halt/diet pills split 7"
Finaly some Grinding Halt vinyl again. Here showing some of the slower side of their set. Two songs of which one is somewhat of a noisy hc song while the 2nd has 90's mosh written all over it. On the flip side there's Diet Pills insanity. Hints of Dystopia and Jesus Lizard thrown in a blender. It's so heavy it makes you wonder how it would fit on the vinyl. Great dutch/uk team up! [de graanrepubliek]

mind as prison "maryland grindcore" 7"
There is something powerful in the water in the area in and abouve our state's capital. That power has seeped out and created some mutant musicians who play grindcore more insane than any others. First it spawned Magrudergrind, then it birthed Triac, then there was A Warm Gun, following later was Disciples of Christ and finally from the goo of infernal blasterdom came Mind As Prison. MAP plays masterful Baltimore grindcore. Superior blasting, raw classic metal chops thrown in on top of a huge wall of noise. Imagine P.L.F. if they got all raged out on Death and Nasum. Still having trouble believing this record exists? Like the jaded Toxic Avenger of grindcore, they will knock you out with the mop of blasting justice. They simply won't waste your time. [blastcat records]

p.l.f./downtrodden split 7"
P.L.F. strike back with this new amazing recordings. 2 absolutely new and exclusive tracks plus 2 cover songs that pay homage to the grind kings Agathocles! Downtrodden from Serbia renew the true spirit of old school grindcore spittin' venom and rage! Their way to play is classic and new at the same time, sped by a drum gun machine. This is the first step into "kalashnikov grindcore". prepare for a new revolution! [zas records]

raw nerve "midnight" 7"
RAW NERVE return with their most ambitious outing yet, an 8-song EP depicting human involvement as a thin fabric of insecurities sewn by the incapable and the bitter. This is the band at their most prolific, expanding their sound into a jarring implosion of balance and tension. This release comes pressed on clear and white vinyl housed in three-panel inner sleeves with black dust jackets inside a custom uncoated slipcover. 2nd press White vinyl. [youth attack]

skizophrenia "s/t" 7"
Here comes 2nd ep of japanese great treasure Skizophrenia from Tsuyama punk city. it’s put out for 1st ep in 3 years and half. they’ve affected to all over Japanese punk scene and tour bands from overseas by their various ideas, energy, culture, food and drink. it’s like the eye of punk typhoon in here. you will know what a great bands/place in such a country side. it’s meaningless to mention the band names for their sound, if it has to say dawn of hardcore punk early 80’s intense raw punk, eat and puke these UK82’/ Finland/ Sweden bands. Bristles, Kohu-63, Nukketeatteri, Appendix etc. This is just name of Raw Punk E.A.T.E.R.! catchy guitar riff, roaring bass line, raw drumming as hell that sound like 80’s cardboard drumming. melodious screaming shouts for our future that nowhere to go. full of 4 parts originality will attack to your heart and light up for tomorrow! [hardcore survives]

suburbanite 7"
New York City’s SUBURBANITE debut with this 7-song stampede of rough HardCore in the style of the early Touch N Go classics. Features members of Failures, Veins, Aerosols, & Cancer Kids. This release features custom tri-panel foldout covers with attached pocket sleeves. 2nd press Lim. 300. [youth attack]

taipan "ten day dawn" 7"
6 tracks of hateful noise from Sydney's most notorious dickheads. "If you fuse the mosh of Urban Blight's song "Slow Death", SEXVID's "Tania". So basically the hard slamming foundation of early AF and the dark lord himself, you are left with the newest songs by TAIPAN. Werstmen behaviour in its most ugliest form. Great lyrics! The best example of todays Australian youth gone awry. Limited to 300 copies! [disinfect records]

the ropes 7"
Reawakened from the crypt of THE REPOS crawls its sickened progeny, THE ROPES. After a three-year interment these six new anthems seep to the surface and pick right up where their forebears died off. With a brash amalgam of American influences, THE ROPES display incredible mastery in their seemingly off-hand assault, driven completely over the top by the inhuman roar of vocalist Aaron Aspinwall. This deluxe re-release of their self-titled EP comes showcased in a custom foldout double-sided envelope sleeve, with a sixteen-page booklet featuring marvelous artwork by Will Boone, and pressed to red vinyl in black dust sleeves. [youth attack]

vaccuum "s/t" 7"
Brand new EP from these Bay Area ragers, the follow up to their debut 7" on Lengua Armada. Unlike a lot of what's happening now, it's not another Kyushyu-a-like clone here. Just simple hardcore that covers all ground from mid-paced to blazing through the course of this EP with feedback bleeding from every pore. Nods to all times and places throughout the history of hardcore punk without sounding like anything specific. [irukandji records]

veins 7"
6 song vinyl edition of this explosive classic remastered for the loudest possible sound. Desperate, nihilistic HC presented in an ornate fold out book style jacket and cut to white vinyl. Lim. 500! I have the 1st and the 3rd press in stock. [youth attack]

vile gash "deluded" 7"
On their second vinyl outing released in anticipation of their upcoming LP. VILE GASH delivers three ravaged bursts of aggression that seal the deal on man. This is a hideous rotting beast, one drowned in contempt over the fallacies of rational thought. This EP features custom pocket sleeves on extra thick board, black dust sleeves in tight stickered bags. 2nd press solid red vinyl Lim. 500 [youth attack]

Warthreat 7"
Warthreat are from Perth, Western Australia and play noisy as hell d-beat. 6 tracks full noise blast with d-beat noise, energetic drumming, dirty and fat sound productions. Much riffing influenced from Anticimex, Skitlickers and the like. Disclose and other Japanese crusty/ noise added as well. This band consist members from Suffer and Extortion. [crucificados]

12" records

drainland/trenches split lp
Damn! a split with epic proportions. I've had the recordings from both bands for some time now and when it arrived here at our HQ i realized again how amazing both sides are. Drainland offer 4 songs of noise drenched hardcore. Slow, fast, heavy and powerful. For fans of Unruh, Noothgrush and Dystopia. Trenches on the other side come with their first output on vinyl. One song that lasts for about 14 minutes. I guess they could be best compared to a mixture between Ire and Isis (Celestial period). Riffing, groove, dark and just simply great. [de graanrepubliek]

haemophagus "slaves to the necromancer" lp
Finally out the vinyl version of the debut album from the sicilian Haemophagus! Yes, this mass of filth must be listen (...and owned!) on the classic 12" analogic press. 17 pieces of rotted flesh will horrified your days and 17 tales of horrified fiction will rotting your night! Keep an eye open to this monster 'cause does not forgive. If your ears bleed for Repulsion, Machetazo and Autopsy don't miss this joy for the senses. [zas records]

mesrine "obsessive complusive" lp
Canadian serial killers returns with a new album that is the most brutal and catchy to date. 41 (...yes you read well!) fourty fukkin' one cruel songs splashed into an half hour. Their greatest and killing work in almost 20 years of murdering grindcore. Nothing else to add except that this vinyl version sounds 1,000,000 times better than the CD version!!!! This maniac bloody cut comes in ONLY 300 hand numbered copies. [jennifer grind records]

m.v.d. "war species" lp
M.V.D. is a band from Berlin that formed in mid '80s and became known for its brand of crust-hardcore. The 14 tracks on "War Species" is everything you'd want in the perfect old-schoolish crust album - relentlessly crunching, crust edged riffs, a precision guided jackhammer of a rhythm section, and pissed-off and in your face vocals assault.

schizophasia "3000" lp
2nd LP of this canadian horde. Side one contains Confuse / Disorder style Noisecore, Side B dark, classic Industrial Noise like early SPK or mid-70's THROBBING GRISTLE. 400 copies were made. [streaks records]

sump "demo III" lp
Blackened harsh punk from Northern England. 7 bonus tracks included. Limited to 160 copies with silk screened cover and insert. Artwork by Gareth Howells. [dead section records]

white medal "agbrigg the beast" lp
7 tracks of stripped down & raw Black Metal from the North of England recorded in 2009. This LP presents "Agbrigg the Beast" in an expanded form, containing two more songs (7 songs total) than the CS version that were recorded in the same session. Limited to 200 copies on black vinyl with xerox covers, this is the most complete version of the recording. This release is the exciting revelation of a band coming into their own. Up until this point White Medal have worked at defining their sound and their purpose, and here it is realized in full with a concise set of 7 songs full of character and effective composition. The rawness is still there, the sentiment is there, but now it comes together with fitting riffs and a sturdy jog rhythm that proves to be most comfortable for White Medal. [seedstock records]

.... and much more! stay tuned!!!!![/quote]

death evocation 7"
New side project from members of MIND ERASER, this is some straight up classic thrash metal in the style of SACRILEGE. Death Evocation play raging, crust-tinged metal with authoritative female vocals. This thing sounds like Slayer with Framtid production and reverbed to shit female vocals. You'd have to have rocks in your head not to tap your foot when you hear this. [quality control hc records]

front line "basic training" 7"
After having been in limbo for the better part of 30 years, we are proud to bring you the long lost "BASIC TRAINING" E.P. by Norfolk, VA's FRONT LINE. Commonly known as the "Second Demo" by tape traders over the years, this was recorded in October of 1982 shortly before the band imploded, leading to the formation of BONESAW and eventually GOD'S WILL. "BASIC TRAINING" features 10 tracks of primal and vicious USHC not unlike fellow Virginians WHITE CROSS with whom they shared the stage many times over their brief existence. Select tracks from this session would go on to be featured on compilations like THE MASTER TAPE VOL. 2 on Paul Mahern's Affirmation Records (along side bands like MECHT MENSCH, ZERO BOYS, NO LABELS, and many more) and the legendary all Virginia TARANTULA ON MY COCK tape that guitarist Jeff Clites would release in 1983, but this is the first time all of these songs have officially appeared together the way they were meant to. Raging Southern Hardcore at it's finest. [beach impediment]

hounds of hate "no redemption" 7"
No Redemption is the debut 7" from Braddock, PA/NYC's Hounds of Hate. Featuring current and former members of CREEM, Natural Law, and Pissed Jeans, Hounds of Hate plays unrepentantly straight edge hardcore in the vein of late 80s NYHC, particularly that of Sick of It All and Warzone with a production striving for a sound akin to the Free For All comp. [katorga works]

integrity/rot in hell 2x7"
The ongoing nationwide campaign of Holy Terror is set to escalate beyond your feeble comprehension with this landmark document. This forthcoming collaboration between notorious global agitators Integrity and zeitgeist grabbing facilitators Rot In Hell features new and exclusive recordings unique to this release. Packaged within a hardback book of endtime fairytales, collated & illustrated by the infamous Dwid Hellion, this double 7" pack features two new recordings from each unit. Dovetailing this genre defining work, an additional 7" on coloured vinyl, containing a caustic narrative of the book by Dwid himself. [tdon records]

leprosy "5 tracks" 7"
5 tracks as of killer UK82 hardcore punk from Melbourne! This is new on HARDCORE VICTIM RECORDS. For fans if DISCHARGE, CHAOS UK, DISORDER, and probably a mountain of lesser known heroes. Catchy and anthemic. [hardcore victim records]

long pigs 7"
Debut vinyl release from this Brooklyn hardcore band by the guys who run the inimitable Toxic State Records. Six songs of desperate bleak noisy hardcore. Production is like the demo, but is much fuller. Covers are beautifully screen printed on thick cardboard paper and includes insert. [smrt records]

raw nerve "midnight" 7"
RAW NERVE return with their most ambitious outing yet, an 8-song EP depicting human involvement as a thin fabric of insecurities sewn by the incapable and the bitter. This is the band at their most prolific, expanding their sound into a jarring implosion of balance and tension. This release comes pressed on clear and white vinyl housed in three-panel inner sleeves with black dust jackets inside a custom uncoated slipcover. 2nd press White vinyl. [youth attack]

sete star sept/penis geyser split 7"
Sete Star Sept is literally the best grind band I've ever seen live. For being just bass and drums, their recordings here sound massive, dense, claustrophobic. Wild arrangements hint at chaos yet they're too musically tight to just be randomized. This is how grindcore should sound to me: the destruction of music/art/everything. True professionals. Penis Geyser's side was culled from tape recordings of this recent US tour. Again, the complete abandonment and destruction of musicality to express true feelings and energies. I love noisecore and these guys are reigning world champions. [sphc]

stab 7"
This London straight edge hardcore band turned a lot of heads with their demo (including a reissue of said tape on Painkiller Records) and have now followed it up with their debut 7" on Quality Control Records. Six tracks of raging hardcore punk along the lines of the debut flexis from Heresy and Ripcord. Complete with a token sample of a bomb going off. You need this! [quality control hq records]

suburbanite 7"
New York City’s SUBURBANITE debut with this 7-song stampede of rough HardCore in the style of the early Touch N Go classics. Features members of Failures, Veins, Aerosols, & Cancer Kids. This release features custom tri-panel foldout covers with attached pocket sleeves. 2nd press Lim. 300. [youth attack]

sump/cadaver split 7"
UK Blackened Punk meets Basque Blackened Punk. Limited to 200 copies. [dead section records]

the ropes 7"
[youth attack]

varix 7"
Awesome debut by these four girls from Minneapolis. 7 songs that reminds me a bit Sacrilege in the vocals, though the music is just primitive hardcore inspired the most by Japanese noise punk. Cool packaging in a silkscreened thick pocket sleeve, made with recycled cardboard. The record comes also with a fold-out lyrics sheet. [basura]

veins 7"
6 song vinyl edition of this explosive classic remastered for the loudest possible sound. Desperate, nihilistic HC presented in an ornate fold out book style jacket and cut to white vinyl.

500 [youth attack]

warning//warning 7"
Available again, some time after the initial pressing sold out rather quickly. 6 songs of ear piercing, yet catchy noise hardcore punk with a message from France. This shit is great. Total Japanese noisecore worship, in the vein of bands like Tranquilizer, Confuse, Coward etc. Classic broken english styled lyrics and killer wah-pedal effects too. [kick rock records]

[crucificados]

gadget "the funeral march" lp
More Than 5 Years after the CD-release of this forward-thinking grindcore-opus on Relapse, the time has come to listen to "the funeral march" in a re-mastered vinyl edition! This is more than a devout collection of blasting beats, sweltering guitars and real-world lyric by these swedish guys. "the funeral march" incorporates sinister melodies and a keen sense of dynamics to an already explosive mix. GADGET is more fierce and focused than ever before and shaping the future of grindcore with "the funeral march". Vinyl comes with gatefold-cover. [7 degrees records]

nazi dust "wretched hour" lp
Certain cities make for incubators of specific kinds of music and Tampa, like Detroit, makes for ugly music. NAZI DUST is a hardcore punk band pulling from the nastier moments of 80's Boston hardcore, mostly SIEGE and SSD. Their recording is raw, their drums are pounding, their guitar and bass are buzzsaws of treble and distortion and the vocals are spit with an unreal amount of venom. Violent music from young men in a violent city. [vinyl rites]

the afternoon gentlemen "pissedography" lp
29 track LP compiling tracks from TAG's first 5 'proper' releases: TAG/Cyborg split 7", TAG/OSK split 7", 'Pissed Again' 7" and the 'Afterdoom' CD EP. [tvg records]

vaginors "nuclear papsmear" lp
Mixing the fantastic, idiotic, and downright absurd, this is the debut LP from Australian punk heroes VAGINORS! An explosion of high energy tunes taking influence from both classic 77 punk and early Japanese noise-core. VAGINORS tread the line between obnoxious pop and hardcore rock-n-roll with pounding bass lines, searing guitars, and some of the most insane vocals you will hear outside a CRUCIFUCKS record. For fans of THE DAMMNED, DISORDER, SWANKYS, CHAOS CHANNEL, CONFUSE, and DEVO. 8 tracks of retarded rock-n-roll noise complete with machine guns, crying babies, and RAMMSTEIN samples. Off-the-wall and totally addictive! [hardcore victim]

warning//warning "there's nothing left" lp
First full-length from these Bordeaux, France noisemakers, what you have here are 11 songs of frantic noisy hardcore that just released in time for their november US TOUR. Getting more and more a style on their own, this album has more noisier, repetitive stuff than the 7". [kick rock records]

warsore/autoritär lp
Yeah... after long 14 years from first release is this awesome piece of plastic shit back on the daylight. Remastered both sides. AUTORITAER with 9 crust as fuck songs and WARSORE with 11 grind core songs. [psychocontrol records]

Two brand new tracks of dedicated Black Metal from England. The last ever recorded work of Caina. Limited to 300 copies. Artwork by Si Clark. Same material as CD/Tape. 300 copies in pro printed sleeves with insert. [legion blotan records]

.... and much more! stay tuned!!!!!

6" records

Suffering Mind/Protestant split 6"
Poland’s Suffering Mind dish out two paint peelin tracks of vicious grind, perhaps heavier than ever. Protestant from the US counters with two of their shortest tracks yet, one a melodic hardcore punk rager, the other a blastbeating nod to their partners on the split. Limited to 666 copies on clear orange vinyl! [crucificados]

7" records

brutal supremacy 2x7"
BRUTAL SUPREMACY, a double 7" bringing together four of the best active grinding-HC bands. IRON LUNG interpret Brutal Supremacy in the form of a 3-part epic recorded at the Paincave in 2009. MIND ERASER deliver 4 songs that push the style of their last 7" even further. HATRED SURGE bring 3 tracks that showcase the latest mutation of the band with Alex now sharing vocal duties with Rahi of Insect Warfare. SCAPEGOAT offer 7 over-before-they-start songs recorded between their debut 7" and their new lp. All songs are previously unreleased. Packaged in a 6 panel fold out poster. [painkiller records]

confront "the curtain of an intense attack" 7"
4 tracks of blazing Japanese HC from Mie City Japan. After almost 10 years of demos and compilation tracks, the first vinyl output from Confront. With a sound somewhere between older bands like Death Side and newer bands like Crude, this might as well have come out on Bloodsucker, or HG Fact in the late 90's. If that style is up your alley, this is essential. first press of 500 copies. [not very nice prod.]

crude/selfish split 7"
Selfish are back showing there is no limit for the deluxe Japcore by these finnish maniacs. Crude contribute another raw rager of their trademark high voltage hakodate HC! Both songs delivered with absolute passion. [la familia]

curmudgeon "human ouroboros" 7"
A hard-working new hardcore band from Boston, Curmudgeon recorded two EPs in 2011. This is the first one, originally seen as a tape on vocalist Krystina's We Rise label. It had been sold out for a while, so we asked to do it as the first NN release, and spared no amount of effort to bring this 7-minute, 8-song rager to the vinyl-buying public. [nervous nelly records]

damaging noise "instant death noise attack" 7"
6 song ep for this very obscure and now defunct Japanese band, think early Gai, very low-fi and very noisy. 320 pressed on to transparent purple vinyl. [noise punk records]

d-clone/mauser/folkeiis "complete aural turmoil" split 7"
Chaos, turmoil, deaf and hatred. this 3way split giving the shock to the distorted world. D-clone/Folkeiis organize Muaser japan tour in this Februaly. so many people got inspired from their staging on Chaon in Tejas in last year. one of the central band of American Raw hc punk scene nowadays. their various activity is taking so many young kids into raw punk hell. energetic "fists and depth" is even more than their 1st ep. sharpen soul and sensibility D-clone is straight ahead to Wall of noise. going to devide from Finnish hc punk Folkeiis, more originality sounds steping next level of hardcore punk! their rebellion and defiance minds beating a wind hole to the era! [hardcore survives]

drainland/enabler split 7"
Enabler throws two calculated blasts of metallic hardcore onto one side while Drainland lays down a vile bile soaked dirge onto the other. [de graanrepubliek]

dropend "demonstration" 7"
So it’s the 7" press of the demo tape released by Narm Discos! 5 tracks in the spirit of E.N.T crustcore with the great japon crasher sound, recorded at Noise Room! [symphony of destruction]

extortion/jed whitey split 7"
This is the repress of the sold-out 7" by EXTORTION and JED WHIREY. Scratched and bloodied, JED WHITEY stumble back into base camp after what seems like years in the wilderness, but they somehow sound better for it. Their 2 contributions to the record were recorded a while back but their take on ballsy old-school punk with a little metal chucked in is something that will still hold up at any house party today. Some have confused EXTORTION’s raw unapologetic honesty with belligerence. And they’re right: there’s no hiding the bile that’s simmering below the surface. [rsr]

generacion suicida "demo" 7"
Generacion Suicida, a band from LA with people of Rayos X, Kruel, deliver 5 fuckin’ catchy tunes. MRR#340 review speak as well: "This is punk, rudimentary, eloquent and powerful. Dual male/female vocals over music that sounds like it coulda come out of LA in 1979 or yesterday. I have listened to this everyday in my walkman since I got it, walking round town, volume up as hight as it’ll go, a different world in my head as a result. The riffs are so eternal, like an imaginary "Bloodstains Across California" and this musics makes me realize why I’m a punk, and what is punk!" A mastering by Dan/Mammoth mastering have been add now, and it is with a diy screenprint cover!! [symphony of destruction]

hordes "abargnosis" 7"
Ten track vinyl debut from California's HORDES. Bludgeoning and merciless hardcore. The new breed of power violence is upon us. [king of the monsters]

los monjo "mexicanos..." 7"
In this 7" we find 4 brand new songs of the same bass driven raw punk rock, the same rare gift for making punk anthems, and a sound that definitely takes you to 1986, to Eskorbuto mid-period "Ya no kedan más cojones Eskorbuto a las elecciones". [solo para punks]

neo cons "hardcore elite" 7"
This brand new 7" single from Neo Cons was recorded in the same session as their debut EP on Deranged. The A side is a mid-paced hardcore stomper titled, “Hardcore Elite”, and is backed with a cover song from Dutch legends Jezus and the Gospelfuckers/Agent Orange – “Kill The Police”. Raw, snotty, catchy hardcore punk from the Bay Area. [abscess records]

nö pöwer "no axis" 7"
If you are a fan of Japanese hardcore, early American hardcore (Siege, SSD), and d-beat then you can't go wrong with this 7". Some of the loudest and most raw shit you will hear this year, I shit you not. [self aware records]

obediencia "s/t" 7"
Obediencia debut EP is a 4 track platter of inmense magnitude. Their punk is tense, dark, driving yet catchy. Moody riffs with double time on the hi-hat and proper singing. Their singer brings to mind the SADO NATION girl as much as recent bands like GORILLA ANGREB and the music while sounding urgent and fresh is the closest to the Euro KBD sound we have heard in a long time. They lay somerwhere in between the current wave of Spanish raw hardcore bands and the cute punk by numbers of the Madrid punk scene, falling in the cracks of an otherwise boring city. [solo para punks]

peacebastard "global crisis" 7"
This one has 6 new songs that are fast, angry and rocking at the same time. The 7" comes packaged in a four color silk screened cover, as the band tried to get away from the usual artwork for this kind of musical style. For fans of UNHINGED, QUARANTINE, EBOLA, HEALTH HAZARD. [heartfirst records]

pig heart transplant "weapon/gut pleasure" 7"
pon first listen to this I felt sick. Upon the second listening I felt dirty. And sicker. "Weapon" is an aural attack on sanity while "Gut Pleasures" is so far from pleasing that We have given up all hope of further existence. This record is the equivalent of swimming in fallout with open wounds. This record kills you. This record is inner turmoil industrialized. This record has replaced your feelings. This record is our future. This record is not for people. [iron lung records]

p.l.f./nashgul split 7"
Spanish Grind and Anger from Texas, new tracks from both bands, Grind Grind Grind!!!!! Cover by Luis Sandon. incl. insert with lyrics. [bones brigade records]

p.l.f./subcut split 7"
Houston, TX's P.L.F. continue their relentless campaign of Gulf Coast Grindcore with 2 tight, thrash-grinding rippers recorded in 2010, and a cover of Terrorizer's "Human Prey". Flip the record over, and Subcut, who are from Sao Paulo, Brazil, just destroy your sensibilities, with five enraged tracks of truly excellent crusty grind that are delivered like blow after blow in the final beating of your life. [rescued from life]

poor lifestyle "these times" 7"
Poor Lifestyle are from the North of Sweden. The first time i heard them i thought that it was a unreleased demotape from the Circle Jerks, so there you have their inspiration and what they sound like. Lim. to 250 copies! [signaler från ovan]

after a great demo and an equally great split 7" with SOCIALLY RETARDED Chicago's SEA OF SHIT are back with their 1st 7". 8 tracks of ferocious POWER VIOLENCE with some sludgy parts thrown in here and there that are a great follow up to their previous releases. [prgnt records]

[prgnt records]

s.o.b./outo split 7"
On that record S.O.B.'s vocals are performed by Kevin Sharp and Lee Dorian. The split with Outo is another piece of Japanese hardcore history, pure vicious 80s bonesawing thrash storm! live bootleg.

sotatila/think again split 7"
Here comes new strong split 7" ep for Sotatila/Think Again "Black Rainbow japan tour 2012'". Sotatila, 3 of them from Ruidosa Inmunidicia have already toured japan with Think Again/Rydeen last year as "No Border tour". They spread awesome sounds and big lough for all of japanese punks. As early as they come back to japan as Sotatila with finnish singer Jukka (ex-Riistetyt). It reminds us traditional finnish punk monster like Bastards and MellakKa. It's ferocious and savage, nonstop full of propaganda Finnish HC where you cut off their sounds. Think Again, playing in Yokohama/Tokyo area young japanese hardcore punk warriors. They don't care where they play at. Even It's with something the other styles. That activities are supported from so many punks. Getting blood from 100% pure high energetic burning japanese hardcore punk like Lip Cream, Bastard and Judgement. Lyrics are honest and aggressive, that's punk. [hardcore survives]

state violence/ltw split 7"
State Violence bangs out uber killer lo-fi d-beat noise, the kind that gets me drunk on electric feedback. On this 7 inch, they give 5 short bursts of raw as fuck radical sonic violence. I suggest listening to it at very loud volumes, because it might cause brain damage! State Violence’s music has this real cool blackened distortion that runs through all of their songs, plus their tunes are catchy in a subversive way, which makes me keep their shit on repeat! The Lions Tigers and Whales side is two quick blows to the grill, leaving me wanting for more pain. This band makes noise that hits these epic tones of hope & joy. [cricket cemetery]

sudor "ciudad imperial" 7"
Four new songs by these young punks from Toledo, Spain that destroy everything in their path and gain followers and enemies in equal parts after every concert. Suomi Hardcore ´83 in Toledo? Punk attitude on and off the stage is what's important here. [solo para punks]

suffering mind/the afternoon gentlemen split 7"
Proving that there is more to Poland than strong beer and cheap labour, Suffering Mind serve up another platter of devastating top-notch blast. This is a band that churns out the vinyl as though the format was about to run out – they have released an almost constant stream of wax in just about every size and colour imaginable over the last couple of years, but they keep the standards as high as the strength of the spirits they drink. This time round they dish out 4 shots of 79% proof grindcore (including an Assuck cover) that will leave you dazed, damaged and dribbling. On the other side, English morons The Afternoon Gentlemen try to keep up to speed with 6 of their own concoctions, albeit resembling more of a mutant mixture of cider, tonic wine and cheap sherry. This cocktail comes with a grindcore umbrella, but is served in an unwashed powerviolence-shaped glass, with more than a faint whiff of bin-juice. Artwork came courtesy of Gayf Grief from the mighty Art Of Burning Water. [crucificados]

sutekh hexen "daemons" 7"
2nd pressing on red vinyl. Lim. to 66 copies. Two tracks of harsh blackened noise with fog wails and over the top hellish atmosphere. [dead section records]

the wankys "poundland" 7"
The Wankys- Poundland 7” is out now, it comes on white vinyl with a hand screen printed insert and is a one off pressing of 320 copies. [noise punk records]

thräshers "s/t" flexi 7"
Thrashers is like a Swedish mix of FU's, aggression and the melodies from Batallion of Saints. Lim. to 250 copies! [signaler från ovan]

vaaska "condenado" 7"
A new 6 song EP by VAASKA from Texas. They come from the vibrant Austin scene. After two 12"s on Todo Destruido and 540 records this is their first 7" EP and on here they have taken a slightly new direction, away from the early raw sound. This 7" has it all, great power, hooks and vocals in Spanish. This 7"s features 6 hits clocking in at just under 10 minutes. Recorded again by Hanz Zimmerman, Mastered by Jack Control and beautifully packaged in gloomy artwork by Brian Miller. Besides the lyric insert this EP comes with a double sided silk screened inner sleeve. [heartfirst records]

10" records

varaus ss 10"
Take classic Scandinavian bands like Riistetyt, Mob47, Kaaos and the obvious Varaus and Crude S.S. then filter it through Japan and you have Varaus S.S.. Existing from 2003 until 2007 and fitting in well with the likes of Poikkeus, Laukaus and Persevere, Varaus S.S. recorded three demos and drunkenly gigged around. This 10" MLP contains tracks from the first two demos and the entire unreleased third demo plus unreleased live takes. Fans of Finnish, Swedish or any Scandi styled hardcore punk will not want to miss this! All records include 1 large and 1 Medium Varaus S.S. button and either a red or black sticker. [konton crasher records]

12" records

agathocles "kanpai" lp
Limited to 355 copies! Another new studio release by Agathocles which contains 36 trax! Agathocles play fucking grindcore! The thick, fuzz-edged scabrous guitar, unearthly rumbling bass, skull-splintering blasts from an explosive-charged kit, ferocious dual-vocal attack, pissed off sarcasm tinged lyrics, are all very reassuring. Recorded in May 2011 at Studio Grave in Nagoya by Takaho Komatsu (Unholy Grave). [angry voice records]

aghast "bloody opinion" lp
Aghast are kind of the "other" pre-noise-not-music noise-not-music band, though they don't get as much respect as Lebenden Toten. A shame, because the band has continued to improve in all its years of existence and this LP is maybe their finest material yet. Absolutely essential. [distort reality]

brodys militia "covered in violence" lp
Kentucky’s most savage thrash assholes lovingly mutilate twelve punk and metal classics! From the thermonuclear caterwauling of the early years to the hardrock chainsaw barbarity of the current abomination, these recordings span BRODY’S MILITIA’s entire decade-long career of rampant idiocy! Bloody fucking homage is paid in spades with crushing covers of NAPALM DEATH, LED ZEPPELIN, RUPTURE, MOTORHEAD, CRASS, NUNSLAUGHTER, BLUE OYSTER CULT, DEATH SIDE, THE RAMONES, ANTISEEN and more! Maximum sonic cruelty with brilliant cover art by Nor Prego. [rsr]

confuse "hate war no war fucking war" lp
Hailing from Kyushu, Japan from the early 80's CONFUSE is synonomous with Japanese Hardcore across the world. Inventors of the 'raw punk' approach, an hyper distorted version of the classic '82 brit punk formula, they ended influencing a whole plethora of latter European hardcore bands like Extreme Noise Terror or Doom, and the whole 90's "...crust" scene. This discography LP features tracks from the "Nuclear Addicts" 7" from 1984, the "Contempt The Authority And Take Off The Lie" 7" from 1985, the "Spending Loud Night" 7" recorded in 1983, their tracks from the "Sexual Confuse" compilation released in 1985, and the "Stupid Life" 12" from 1989. [noise not music]

criaturas "oscuridad eterna" lp
Their 7" was killer and they kick fucking ass live. The sound on this is bigger than on the EP, the drums crush your puny skull, the guitars wail, soloing around your ears like bloody razor wire, and the screeming banshee vocals never let it up for a minute. They’re from Texas, with the sound of classic sung in spanish hardcore, at the same time being totally original. [trabuc records]

grindwork 4 way lp
The legendary "Grindwork" 4 way split originally released on CD back in 1994 for the first time on vinyl with 16 BONUS TRACKS by NASUM taken from the now hard to find "Regressive hostility" compilation! All together you get 24 NASUM tracks from the early years of this legendary act. This 4 way split is a complete Grindcore onslaught seeing 2 Swedish bands (NASUM and RETALIATION) facing 2 Japanese ones (C.S.S.O. and VIVISECTION) in a all out blastbeat war!! Mandatory to all you maniacs worshipping the short fast and loud formula! Blistering old school Grindcore at its finest!

hummingbird of death/titanarum split lp
Hummingbird of Death have worked with Sound Polltion, 625, Relapse, and now Give Praise -- This collects a two song grindcore opus fueled with: Blasting raw hardcore blaze-ups, fastcore tinges with breakneck speed, blast beat fury to make even the happiest folks frown. Titanarum are here to spend their last recordings with this LP -- they play very solid hardcore punkrock, that has no need or call for any sugar-coating. Blasting, in your face, raw, angry and real hardcore punkrock. [give praise records]

mauser "isolation" lp
Massive speed fueled punk madness from Gainesville, FL. Influenced by Japanese killers FRAMTID, MAUSER is drum-focused and driving, with simple and brutal punk riffs covered in distortion. On their first ep, "End Of the Line", they played a couple mid-tempo rockers, but this is mostly straight forward hardcore punk noise! [la vida es un mus]

mundo muerto "entre el kaos" lp
The debut lp by California's mighty MUNDO MUERTO! Retaining the melody of the earlier 7" and 12" eps but with a harder, faster edge this lp is by far MM's best material to date. 11 tracks of pure hardcore punk greatness. From the build up on the first track to the last note this smokes all the way through!!!! The Spanish vocals only add to the amazingness of this lp and all the "whoa" parts will have you singing along even if you dont speak the language. Catch the Histeria!!! [konton crasher records]

no funeral "s/t" lp
Restock! Debut release from No Funeral , raw blackened punk. Limited to 350 copies. [wands records]

peace or annihilation "fear control" lp
DISCLOSE worship band from Jakarta. Getting better and better. If you enjoyed the songs on the No Tomorrow comp, this is close. 12 songs, all killer. Pure raw distorted Punk Hardcore. [shogun records]

shoppers "silver year" lp
Debut full length from SHOPPERS, Syracuse, NY queer noise punk. Matching pop sensibility and form with visceral, manic noise, Silver Year is comprised of new and old from the band's first year of existence: rerecorded takes from the Goodbye to all that. and You shot me and I woke up in my next life. cassettes weave a story alongside newer material. [drugged conscience]

soul swallower lp
Returning from the dead in the winter of 2010 to record their long belated lp, Soul Swallower offer up 11 songs going back to demos and rehearsals from 2006/2007. Devoured features the first official release of older tracks like "Logic" and "Abyss", as well as heretofore unheard cuts including "Ejaculation" and "Greed and Disgust". It all falls somewhere in the limbo between hardcore and metal: Citizen's Arrest, Ringworm, Sarcofago, Hellhammer, etc. [painkiller records]

sudor "ganas de vomitar" lp
After the 4-track EP and the split LP with Crimen de Estado, this is the first album by Sudor. Strongly inspired by Discharge and Finnish hardcore in the music, but with a very special humour sense that reminds me HHH, Sudor delivers in 13 minutes 10 songs of raw hardcore full of anger but also with young attitude. They are the best hardcore punk band nowadays in Spain, so you will hardly find anything punker than this. [solo para punks]

sutekh hexen "luciform" lp
Restock. 2nd pressing on yellow vinyl! [wands records]

unholy grave "blast mayhem" lp
Alternative title of this release is: “RAW REHERSHAL MASSACRE”. This can give you an idea about the last blasting aggressive LP from japanese gods of grindcore Unholy Grave!!! It features unholy raw grind rehershals (non live stuff and mostly unreleased!) taken between 1994 and 2010!! [grindblock records]

walls "the future is wide open" lp
Walls are basically everything a hardcore band should be these days. Aggressive, provoking and unsettling. Their music has been described as brooding and downright scary at times. They are heavy and fast but with plenty of room for slower and creepy parts. They remind me of the first times I heard a Born Against record. The mixture of pissed off lyrics with such fitting music. Or maybe Dead and Gone, with their basslines and dissonant guitars who make you feel miserable each time you put on their record. You know how some bands are described with images of axes, hammers or other equipment to just describe how brutal they are? Well, Walls are like knives. You don’t see them coming but you can feel they are here. Bleak and harsh. This is rage. This is the European pressing, Iron Lung records will be handling the US version. [de graanrepubliek]

6 inches

rot in hell/vegas split 6"
Rot In Hell, hailing from the United Kingdom, brings yet another guttural attack on the senses with one of the final recordings with their original singer. Germany's Vegas brings a disturbingly melodic song. This record was originally released as part of the very limited 2011 Halloween Surprise Package and now it has been made available in a foil embossed wallet and color vinyl. 6" includes digital download and is limited to 300 copies. [organied crime records]

7 inches

ACxDC "he had it coming" 7"
Anti-Christ Demon Core's He Had it Coming repress features the original six song EP released in 2005 plus two tracks from the same session off the A Sign Of Impending Doom Compilation. The band formed in 2003, recorded these songs in 2005 and then vanished for awhile on a many-year hiatus, only to resurface and record and release a brillian new EP and begin touring again in 2011/2012. The original EP is long saught after by grindcore and powerviolence fiends around the country and this is your chance to grab the limited repress. [to live a lie records]

ACxDC "second coming" 7"
Seven years since their first vinyl output and after coming back from an extended hiatus, a fully rested Antichrist Demon Core produce their glowing sophmore release. The best description was written by Cvltnation: "This one is for the kids, after listening to California’s ACxDC’s new album called The Second Coming, I know the kids will be united. Now nothing can tear them apart because they are bonded by grindcore super glue and a mixture of straight power violence with a dash of hardcore madness just to level everything off. All of the songs on this album are busting loose at the seams with rage & righteous fury. What really makes that the hairs on the back of my neck stand to fucking attention is the caustic groove that this band is able to put out. ACxDC are that kind of grindcore that makes your jaw bones tighten up with excitement. [to live a lie records]

anasazi "s/t" 7"
This is good shit - though I'm having a hard time locating it. I think an "out there" release for Toxic State, but in the best possible way. It's like, if you took a fierce sounding post-punk band, mixed in some darker Corpus Christi shit and then shot the whole thing full of testosterone, it just becomes bad-smelling, intense verging on violent, and exceedingly handsome. "Bone Collector" and "Samsara" serve up some thumping punk rhythms while "Loving You" brings us into a world that's a bit darker, and the "gothy" tones, and mood running throughout are really brought to the fore. [toxic state records]

cellgraft "external habitation" 7"
Cellgraft are Tampa Bays hybrid of both fellow Floridians Assuck and coastal neighbours Insect Warfare in a true old school Grindcore fashion. Adopting Assuckian rampant yet co-ordinated blasting and twisting microscopic observant demise preaching lyricism, and the ever infamous Insect Warfares face shredding screeching guitar work, they have worked out an formula I have yearned to hear in the spotlight of Grind. Originally selfreleased as tape in 2010, now first time on vinyl. [rsr]

chest pain "s/t" 7"
Chest Pain is a fairly new hardcore/PV band out of Austin that shares members with fellow Austin band, For Want Of. Chest Pain has a familiar style, very similar to Iron Lung and Weekend Nachos, but they perform it so well that it never becomes stale or boring. If you enjoy fast, heavy, and pissed hardcore you will undoubtedly enjoy this. [to live a lie records]

citizens arrest "soaked in others blood" 7"
Recorded 20 years after the breakup of these cult favorites, with their entire original membership intact, and with early member Ted Leo reinstated on second guitar, CXA achieve the quite rare feat of delivering a reunion record that fits solidly in the tradition of their classic releases. Soaked In Others Blood sounds like it could have come just after their first 7", and before their lp — perfectly encapsulating the elements that have made them a legendary band in the present day. [painkiller records]

coffins/sourvein split 7"
Two unreleased brand new tracks, one from each band. SOURVEIN brings you their signature sludgy swampy Cape Fear doom grooves while Japan's COFFINS destroys your ears drums with a sonic assault of perfectly crafted death and doom. [force field records]

coke bust "live on wmuc" 7"
Fast, Angry, Frantic!!! Coke Bust is a Straight Edge hardcore band from Washington DC that started in 2006. Blisteringly fast hardcore punk influenced by and for fans of: Heresy, Ripchord, Youth of Today. These 9 tracks were recorded live at WMCU. [carry the weight records]

confines "some sick joke" 7"
Confines return picking up where 2010’s Withdrawn left off. Some Sick Joke delivers three songs of raw, ugly hardcore, including the title track a grueling critique of the state of war we live in and our best efforts to turn a blind eye. Channeling the Crass Records ethos through an early SST filter, Some Sick Joke is a pummeling and relentless American hardcore statement [labor of love]

converge/napalm death split 7"
Legendary bands Converge and Napalm Death have come together for a split release, bridging the worlds of personal and politically driven extreme music. Recorded as part of their new album sessions, Converge offer up the blazing new song "No Light Escapes". On the flip side, metal pioneers Napalm Death offer up two new aural monsters. First, "Will By Mouth" erupts in classic grind fashion. A buzz of brutal guitars and a crushing blast beat lay a foundation for Barney Greenway's vicious vocal attack. All of it uniquely bleeding together to paint a vivid picture of social unrest. Also on the release, Napalm Death offer the slower and textural new song "No Impediment To Triumph (Bhopal)". A deeply resonant number that lyrically sheds light on the horrific Bhopal Gas Tragedy of 1984. Without question, "No Impediment…" is truly a powerful and poignant moment for this legendary band. [deathwish]

dawn of humans 7"
Crazy Spirit may get all of the attention, but everyone in NYC knows that Dawn Of Humans are the trueborn kings of mutant hardcore punk in the city. True freaks in every sense of the word, Dawn Of Humans plays aggressively naive hardcore that sounds like it exists in an alternate universe. This record is just that unbelievable and is beyond any sort of categorization I can provide for it. Their last 7" is one of the best punk records to have come out in 2010 and they may have just topped it with their new 7". Hopefully, this band stays together for at least thirty more years. Hand screened, both side, fold out covers. [toxic state records]

defeat "demo" 7"
Now defunct, Perth, Australias all-star band demo finally out on vinyl. Take a part of HHIG, Terrorizer, Napalm Death, Tragedy, Neurosis and Skitsystem and you will get 7 tracks of brutal in your face HC/Grind/Crust mix, limited to 500 copies. [rsr]

diät "pick a line/no accent" 7";
Rarely does an unsolicited email from a band even raise an eyebrow but No Accent and Pick A Line really knocked us over. Expertly tight catchy drumming, cold as ice monotone pitch perfect post-punk vocals and a rhythm section that would make James Brown mush-mouthier with jealousy. Sorta sounds like "Mesh & Lace" MODERN ENGLISH playing CRISIS covers but with smarter lyrics. We heard a rumor that DIÄT formed with the sole (and lofty) purpose of playing with TOTAL CONTROL in Berlin, where they're from. I could believe the story since 2/3 of the band are actually Australian but I choose not to because the songs are too good to be so casual about. This band will do great things starting now. [iron lung records]

discover "you are only food" 7"
Noisy D-beat Raw Punk attack outta Gothenburg. 6 tracks crashing Dis-Noise incl. covers of Kaaos and Warcollapse. [rawmantic disasters records]

dispose/displode split 7"
Raw and noisy D-beat from Sweden and France. Both bands keep alive the tradition of the Disnoise, essentially influenced by Disclose, Disarm, Shitlickers,... Limited to 300 copies! [crucificados]

drapetomania 7"
Drapetomania released one of the best demos last year in my opinion. Drapetomania's sounds is not easy to describe, as they mix South American punk with melodic/Oi! influences while still keeping it raw and aggressive. Limited to 500 copies on full color offset fold out sleeve. Members of Mata Mata and Tuberculosis for those keeping tabs. [todo destruido]

eddie brock/lapse split 7"
Two heavy hitting powerviolence/hardcore bands from Baltimore, one killer record. [to live a lie records]

give "petal pushing" 7"
One of three GIVE singles released in fall 2011 on a spread of labels. The Washington Post (or Times) called them "not-quite-hardcore" for a "not-quite-hardcore" town which is weird because Boston (the town of Rival Mob -- alternately, the Town of Hardcore for Hardcore) likes them very much. This would fit in nicely in the DC scene of '86-'89 with a lot of jangled guitar interplay, uplifting and honest vocals, and of course a recording via the great Don Zientara @ Inner Ear studios. [painkiller records]

Go Filth Go "5 tracks" 7"
Ultra-distorted D-beat noise ala DISCLOSE! 5 tracks earbleeding raw punk massascre from Greece. First full 7" after their splits with Electric Funeral and Besthöven. [crucificados]

heavy nukes "10 track" 7"
Brilliant swedish old school HC inferno. Total Shitlickers, Anti Cimex worship. [rawmantic disasters records]

heilig tod "raped by sin" 7"
Vinyl reissue of their very limited demo tape, previously released on WANDS. Raw Black Metal, Heavy DARKTHRONE feel. Gross and hateful. [wands records]

hoax "2nd" 7"
HOAX delivers bad news yet again. Capturing the intensity of their over the top live performances is certainly no small feat, yet on vinyl they convey an unparalleled aural assault of massive proportion, wreaking destruction on all fronts with songs that demolish everything in their horizon. Phony chains of command, social indebtedness to false truths, a world crumbling to pieces—games of a bogus system that rely on your habitual passivity. HOAX propel you to retaliate! This EP features elaborate die cut five panel fold out sleeves, pressed on thick black vinyl. [youth attack records]

migraine "four humors" 7"
Final 7" from this young Bay Area band with a lot of familiar faces. I think these guys often got the "mysterious guy HC" tag, and indeed this has that sloppy, noisy, and ugly sound that's very much akin to the kind of stuff Youth Attack puts out... the basic foundation is just wild and fast hardcore, but the way that lead overdubs come in super loud and songs start off with noisy skronk gives it that distinctly "artsy" vibe. Still, this is fucking rager and if you're into Sex/Vid or the best bands on Youth Attack you'll dig this. Killer artwork too! [Lengua Armada Records]

necros "ambionic sound" 7"
The Necros were formed in 1979 by Barry Henssler, Andy Wendler and Todd Swalla. After existing for one year, the band recorded a five song demo at Ambionic Sound Creative Master Recordings in Toledo, Ohio. These are the first recordings of the band. Over the next few years they would go on to record some of the most important hardcore punk records ever released. Mastered from the original tape of the Ambionic session, Alona’s Dream is proud to present these songs for the first time ever in their original form on vinyl. [alonas dream records]

omegas "ny terminator" 7"
Latest EP from this notorious Toronto band, and it's a ripper. Everyone knows the sound by now, but in case you don't these guys play perfect metallic HC. the most obvious comparison, I think, is early Warzone, but with unique sounding vocalist and a guitarist who really likes to do dive-bombs. It's really easy for this style to sound played out and boring, but Omegas have great songs and riffs for miles. top-shelf hardcore right here. [Painkiller Records]

owl's blood "eerie watercolor" 7"
Black Metal from Basque Country/Portugal. Members from Ostots and Sentimen Beltza. [dead section records]

rape revenge "paper cage" 7"
Rape Revenge is a vegan straight edge queer feminist band from Calgary, Alberta. They have been together for two years and have released a self titled EP, a self released a live cassette, and are now have this brand new record, Paper Cage, out on To Live A Lie Records. Rape Revenge writes songs about queer issues, women’s rights, child sexual exploitation, veganism, and anarchy. Their new EP features their fastest and blastiest material to date. [to live a lie records]

salvation "house of the beating hell" 7"
Picking up where they left off with their ”Mortality Interactions” LP, SALVATION continue to suffer their waking nightmare like a procession marching to its own burial. With a sharpened delivery, vocalist Matthew Adis drags the listener into a maelstrom of disrepair through songs that pulsate with an ominous shudder. Life might be a total loss, but it comes with the obligation to endure until the end. This EP features heavyweight, custom glossy die cut jackets with full color printed inner sleeves, and pressed on heavy red vinyl. [youth attack records]

shoppers/panzram split 7"
Panzram and Shoppers come together for a noisy punk parade on this little platter. Syracuse NY's Shoppers play the catchiest noise drenched punk you've ever heard, totally drawing you in with riffs that just remain in your head for days. All that backed up by great vocal work - haunting and full of attitude. Panzram returns from Ft. Myers FL to dish out another dose of mean and ugly non traditional HC laced with hints of post punk. If bands like Pollution, Walls, and Drugs of Faith are your thing, you will be right at home with Panzram's offerings. The packaging is screen printed with 5 prints. [ifb records]

straight jacket nation "nationalism" 7"
Raw and visceral Cleveland meets Boston style hardcore punk music played by tough skinned Aussie cunts. They take no bullshit and give no quarter to those of a weaker stock. SJN have been laying low for a while but have finally decided to unleash these three cuts for public consumption. Recorded at CC's Paincave "studio" in Boston, My America. In short, this is a mean record for mean people. Scare yourself with darker possibilities. [iron lung records]

truncheons "stuck on" 7"
Following their demo tape, here is the first vinyl release from Montreal Noise punks TRUNCHEONS. ex-after the bombs. [distort reality records]

tinnitus "gehenna" 7"
Boston area powerviolence and hardcore has been on the upswing the last few years. Tinnitus are involved in that surge of SPAZZ and DESPISE YOU worshiping powerviolence that is tinged with the ever-present hardcore that you could only find in the Boston area. This record is limited to 300. [to live a lie records]

vaarallinen "hautausmaa" flexi 7"
VAARALLINEN is a new punk band from Singapore that have a passion, sincere and HARDCORE towards the 80's SCANDINAVIAN HC/PUNK. The 4 songs of madness from this flexi is the 2nd release after their demo. They are totally singing in Finnish with echo vocal, raw guitar and blown out drum beat. It's worth checking out for fans of KAAOS, TOTALITAR, ANTI-CIMEX, DESTRUCKTIONS, and you name it! [full force hardcore destruction]

water torture "shellfire" 7"
Debut EP from this two-piece powerviolence outfit based out of Buffalo, NY. 1st pressing of 500. [diseased audio records]

zetu "ninja attack" 7"
Kobe Ninja Punk! New age raw punk attack appeared from the darkness like a Ninja. Increasing attack punk taste more than their old materials. Sounds like masterpiece of raw punk comp "Sabotage 2001", Japan krew Special, Wart, Skizophrenia, ORdER and something like Turtle Island. 120% "Japanese" music with UK82 punk! Sounds leaving like japanese drum and nostalgic melodies with serious and melancholy lyrics in splendid festival. The dancers are fools, The watchers are fools. Both are fools, So why not dance? [hardcore survives]

10 inches

pizza hi five/powercup split 10"
POWERCUP of Montreal, Canada start off this piece of vinyl with 13 crucial ear shattering grinders. Delivering some fast and heavy blasts over disgustingly gutteral vocals, with some thick fuzzed out guitars. To follow up the brutality are grind champions of Ohio. PIZZA HI FIVE lay down 12 fast pulverizing tunes that keep you on the edge of your seat straight through to the end. [witch bukkake records]

12 inches

anger burning "when" lp
10 tracks of classic swedish D-beat rawness. Excellent hardcore punk ala Anti Cimex, Shitlickers. [rawmantic disasters records]

arts "thousand wounds of war" lp
The first spell from Arts is an apocryphal prayer to awaken the dead and answer the call to the divine truth manifested within the depths of these incantations, venerated here in the 7th year of the Great Tribulation. Remastered from the original 4 track tapes to achieve maximum sonic devastation and eclipse the listener in supreme blackness, herein is the sound of war unleashed. This LP comes pressed on 185 gm vinyl, housed in extra thick laminated tip on jackets and gloss coated "euro" sleeves. [youth attack records]

axeman "arrive" lp
The first release by Darkest Heavy Records.Originally released January 18, 2010 on cassette thru Crepusculo Negro, now mastered with high QUALITY packaging. Axeman is the solo project of Volahn showing more of his crust roots of 80's style fusion of Amebix/G.I.S.M. mixed with 80's Brazilian/L.A. metal sound. With pure devotion to the ancient cults "Arrive" merges indigenous underworld apocalyptic destruction with high caliber song writing/execution as only the prophet can summon. For worshipers of Amebix/Slayer/Sepultura/G.I.S.M./Sarcofago... [darkest heavy records]

crazy spirit "s/t" lp
Here is the long awaited debut from our beloved Crazy Spirit. Fans will not be disappointed, haters will hate. There are no new tricks here and the band does what it does well better than it has before, pulling out some of the most earsplitting, wonderful riffs it has busted out to date. The album flows as naturally as the trademark gallop carries you from the muddy, audio sample in its beginning, to moody end. While the album sounds worlds better than previously recorded it maintains all of the essentials - strictly 8-track recordings, same gremlin, same round bass tone, and so on. Really excellent songs that successfully take the writhing CS sound and serve up stuck-in your brain hooks. Fucking enjoy. [toxic state records]

dispose/kranium split lp
Distort the north! Swedish raw punk assault! Dispose with distorted D-beat raw punk. Kranium with classic scandi raw noise. [crucificados]

extortion/cold world split lp
After 2008's "Hands Off Our Music" 7" with its furious, brutal delivery, Vienna's COLD WORLD are back with this first full new recording since reuniting + 4 years ago. The focus on COLD WORLD's side of the split 12" with Australia's powerhouse EXTORTION lies on their 80s Highspeed Hardcore roots and early Powerviolence sound. COLD WORLD never fit in anywhere and couldn't care less to change this situation in 2012. EXTORTION with 11 new Hardcore attacks, you know what you have to expected!!! [rsr]

sakatat "bir devrin sonu" lp
Like Singapore’s Wormrot, the band plays as a trio and are heavily influenced by the early recordings of Napalm Death. This one's an absolute, complete scorcher! Such a sharp guitar sound, incisive riffs that could shred and mince through your flesh, rapidfire drumming going at demented speeds, ultra-tight snare skin poundings that feel like stabs through the ear-drum. These maniacal throat splitting shrieking vocals give the coup de grâce. A guaranteed killing. Probably the best sound production the band has ever benefitted from too. This is intense grindcore song writing at its best, brutal blastbeats, breath taking breakdowns, fast, fast, fast. This stuff ranks up there with anything by Wormrot or Magrudergrind! [bog records]

six brew bantha "same" lp
Six Brew Bantha is an vicious grindcore, powerviolence band from Victoria, B.C., Canada. They seriously play some of the most violent and destructive sounding noises you will ever hear out of Canada, comparing highly to the likes of other fast as fuck and powerviolence, fastcore leaning noise, such as Insect Warfare, Suppression, Gride, Lycanthrophy or Noisear, as well as sounding pretty similar to newer bands like Parlamentarisk Sodomi, Pizza Hi-Five, The Afternoon Gentlemen, Suffering Mind, California Love, In Disgust, etc. Blazing speeds, unbelievably spastic song structures, tempo changes, pure unadulterated and relentless grinding brutality. [witch bukkake records]

veuve ss/meurthe split lp
VEUVE S.S. is definitely related to self-hatred, disgust and frustration. Niling the raw, noisy, devastating mood of bands like Void, Die Kreuzen or Sex/Vid, these three songs rippin' at 45 RPM made of manic vocals raging over noisy, blown out, intense hardcore, offer the occasional and necessary retreat for normal and socially well-established people, who want to release the burden of their inner thoughts, such as we all try to do. MEURTHE from Lyon, France represents the minimalist, anxiety induced and half improvised one man project of T.J. Handmade sounds are leaking through the unique track Ulrike Meinhof. It's about melodies, sound waves and floating rhytms shaping the limits of the dark drone that is present here. Pro printed and hand assembled LP Cover + inlay sheets. Limited to 200 copies on white w/ both sided silkscreenprint. [nerdcore records]

zyanose "noise philia 2005-2011" lp
Osaka’s distortion masters ZyanosE have been creating the most blown out, ear piercing noise to come out of Japan for the past 10 years. This LP compiles all their recorded works to date, including both EP’s, the first demo and comp tracks . You can hear the progression of the band from the Confuse-esque noisecore of the Crossing EP to the Gloom style Loveless EP and falling into their own "Insane Noise Raid" sounds on the Yotsuva and HEAL comps. This is one of the most important collections of Japanese noisecore from the past decade, from the people doing it best. Don’t miss this. [540 records]

Latest EP from this wild Japanese noise punk band. Attack SS are definitely in the D-Clone / Folkeiis / Zyanose school of noise not music, and like those bands there's a lot more here than just noise for noise's sake. There's a clear consideration of how noise textures play off of one another, an real dynamics that give the songs a sense of push and pull despite the noisiness of the individual sounds that compose the band's music. [distort reality records]

church whip "s/t" 7"
Incredible, blazing amalgam of hardcore, d-beat, black metal. You will bang your head, pump your fist, pledge your soul to Satan and all of the other demons of rock n roll. This is how that blackened crusty shit is supposed to sound. 3 songs packaged in a screen printed sleeve that folds out into a poster. Great artwork, great release, well worth the cash. [corpse without soul]

closure/moloch split 7"
Moloch = UK sludge doom violence - Closure = UK powerviolence. Harking back to the 90s when Sludge & PV bands went arm in arm. Brutal and ugly. [feast of tentacles]

deformity "shards" 7"
After a string of great demos and an aborted EP this young punks finally see their first release on vinyl. Three high intensity hardcore songs which sound aggressive and noisy. Hailing from NYC they have a youthful approach to an old formula. DISORDER, DISCHARGE, STOOGES, CONFUSE. All mixed up and recorded following the old "all knobs to the right" method. 500 press on silk-screen pocket sleeves. [la vida es un mus]

desperat "borjan pa slutet" 7"
Newest 7" from this Swedish band which features members of Mob 47 and Warvictims. Simply outstanding, Swedish HC at it's best. Limited to 500 copies. [hardcore victim]

giftgasattack "deadly future" flexi 7"
Four fucking raw studio tracks recorded back in 2009. Different versions of these songs later appeared on the Noise Hero 12", but this noise-drenched session is previously unreleased. These are some of the first double-sided flexis produced since the 90's. [noxious noise records]

goosebumps "i hate my body" 7"
Debut 7" from this NYC band that comes from the same camp as Crazy Spirit, Hank Wood, Dawn of Humans, et al. Fans of those bands definitely won't be disappointed, as Goosebumps definitely have a similar thing going on... strange arrangements, ranting vocals, and a sound that doesn't really compare to anything except NYC in 2012. Essential for followers of the Toxic State scene, and like all of those releases this one also features top-notch artwork. [Burn Books Records]

hellkontroll "stuck inside a vapid blitz" 7"
Intense, violent and uncompromising noise punk with super fast drumming and a thick recording. Decipherable songs under walls of noise, not unlike greats FRIGORA and GLOOM, but with a bleaker and more apocalyptic outlook. [bombs away records]

kremlin "will you feed me" 7"
New Toronto outfit. Five brandnew slaps recorded after their two devastating demo tapes from last year. Think parts less distorted early DISCHARGE, parts TERVEET KÄDET with hints of Japanese noisecore mongers SEXUAL or early SODOM as heard on ADK Omnibus. [hardware records]

last chaos "kill dick control" 7"
LAST CHAOS is a new raw punk hardcore band from Australia with members of TEARGAS. Raging and intense, they take influences from Finnish punk, like TERVEET KADET, VARAUS, etc... but also from some japanese punk sound, like early CROW. Total killer and powerful bass and drums, vocals are very memorable and has huge reverb effect, that brings modern influences to mind, such as DESTINO FINAL or KRIEGSHOG. Mastering has been done by Jack Control (WORLD BURNS TO DEATH), and here you are with 4 songs of raw punk attack from Australia!! [hardcore victim]

natural law "spring trash" 7"
These four songs originally came out in 2010 as a self-released tape and is still my favourite material by this Brooklyn based group. Their sound is not easy to describe. Painful and pure cognitive dissonance pressed on wax swinging between blistering ragers and straight-up stompers. [hardware records]

nomad "s/t" 7"
From the Crazy Spirit / Hank Wood / Toxic State family, NYC d-beat warriors Nomad return with their elite brand of ultra distorted punk insanity in the vein of Confuse and Disorder. Sung in Japanese, Nomad brings the best single syllable sing a longs and fist pumping glory in all of the U.S. As with all the other Toxic State releases, all the packaging is totally handmade. [toxic state records]

pizza hi five/archagathus split 7"
Total Mince annihilation. ARCHAGATHUS have been a seminal band in the mince realm genre taking influence from AGATHOCLES and ROT, who are the pioneers. PIZZA HI-FIVE have also been making a big dent in the mince world, and just finished up a European tour. [grindfather productions]

surf nazis must die "demo" 7"
SURF NAZIS MUST DIE's premier release from 2001. Crazy, immature Hardcore Punk from Germany puking out some hilarious lyrical effluxions influcened by old D.C. Hardcore like TEEN IDLES or YOUTH BRIGADE and CHARLES BRONSON. [hardware records]

unholy grave/hatred division split 7"
UNHOLY GRAVE is japan's longest lasting grindcore band. HATRED DIVISION is angry-as-fuck grindcore from Malaysia. this record is fucking great. 300 copies were pressed. [grindfather productions]

unholy grave/internal damage split 7"
300 copies were pressed. [core records]

violent reaction "s/t" 7"
Following a promising demo last year, Liverpool's Violent Reaction finally release their debut 7" ep. Six tracks of undiluted hardcore punk that are more influenced by Discharge, Poison Idea, Out Cold and Blitz than the likes of Youth Of Today, VR is for those who like their straight edge hardcore a little more antisocial. Originally started as a one man project by Tom Pimlott (Sectarian Violence, Nowhere Fast), VR is now playing live with members of Stab and Abolition backing him up. The record comes in an A3 wraparound sleeve and handstamped coloured innersleeves. First press is limited to 326 copies on black vinyl. [Quality Control HQ]

12" records

agathocles/paucities split lp
mincecore battle. Agathocles - mince legends from Belgium vs. Chicago new wave mince. 10 songs from each band. [haunted hotel records]

ilegal "el aire libre fuera de los..." lp
After a demo and three seven inches ILEGAL finally unleash their debut full length. 12 songs clocking in at just about 30 minutes. Heavily influenced by early Italian and Spanish hardcore bands like WRETCHED or ANTI-DOGMATIKSS their sound brings to mind a time in hardcore where you could still understand what the band was singing about while sounding ferocious. Mastered by Joel Hatsat in Florida and housed in a beautiful wraparound sleeve designed by Eugene from CRAZY SPIRIT. [la vida es un mus]

people "fairy tale" lp
The debut LP by People from Japan. Follow up to their EP released in '08 which sold out in a flash, back again with 11 more tracks of 200% Swankys worship. Limited edition one time pressing on 180 gram vinyl and housed in thick, full color glue pocket sleeves. [damaging noise records]

suffering mind/h.407 split lp
Well known unstopable grindcore machine Suffering Mind fuelled by DIY punk scene from Lublin city this time presents how devastaitng they are on live sets - who saw them at least once knows exactly what to expect from this wax - 14 pieces of unleashed hell! Recorded in Rostock's harbor thanks to awesome Andy of Wojczech and Stubnit's crew! And on the flip side grindcore crust massacre from Poland. Here you can find 10 totally crushing brutal punk songs. 7" records

armless children "5 track" 7"
Killer Noise Punk from Finland! 5 tracks full of fast forward finnish hardcore with an incredible floating guitar sound, which makes this band unique. Double sided A3 sized foldout sleeves. Pressing of 500 copies. [raakanaama records]

ash to dust 7"
Very dark and striking HC from the depths of central California, ASHtoDUST is a band that refuses to adhere to genre limitations. Taking elements of dark punk and HC along the lines of Rudimentary Peni and then pairing it with brooding and complex metallic riffs, the band breathes new life into a stale HC scene by offering something different. The songs on this record even have a bit of an early Neurosis or later Black Flag feel at times because of the dark and depressing riffs. Truly one of the more interesting HC records I have heard in the past few years, it blends it's influences so well it's pretty hard to nail down what exactly the band is going for, but it's very clear that they are doing it very well. [video disease records]

avfall "dish it out" 7"
This is 2nd ep of Tokyo's young punks Avfall! Totalitär, Fyfan and Skitkids with US thrash punk styles are non-categorized hardcore attack punk! Spitting out vocals, chainsaw guitar, rumbling bass line and stop and go drumming! Avfall present 6 songs for all the fans of pure hardcore punk! [hardcore survives]

bi marks "sleeper" 7"
Great follow up to their recent golden years LP. Three tracks of raging U.S. hardcore in the vein of Zero Boys with a touch of Black Sabbath and early Accused for good measure. The best kept secret in modern day U.S. hardcore punk and a refreshing change from the current state of American hardcore. [black water records]

bloodkrow butcher "anti war"7"
Amazing 2nd 7" from Bloodkrow Butcher. The line up this time is a little bit different with PJ taking over on Vocals, but despite the line up change this is still classic BKB. The band has really come into their own, this isn't just generic D-Beat, this is incredibly well crafted Punk/HC. One of my favorites of the year. Limited to 500 copies. [side two records]

bottom feeder 7"
Slow, heavy and swirling sludge from Copenhagen, Denmark. [raw birth records]

chaos destroy/violent party split 7"
Brand new split 7" from two of the most extreme "noise punk" bands in the world. You know what you're expecting and you get it here: raw, ignorant noise with nary a trace of anything that a normal human being might call music. Limited to 300 copies.

coke bust/vaccine split 7"
One of the most anticipated split releases of the year. This is a killer combination of both incredible bands and there's no way that you'll be left dissapointed after listening these 9 loud assaults. This is ultra fast ultra raging straight edge hardcore coming from Washington DC and Massachusets. Mindblowing and devastating. COKE BUST is a super tight, unstoppable machine influenced by Heresy, Ripcord, early DRI and Infest. VACCINE is known from their three eps and this is a straight up sonic, raw, noisy uncompromising attack. Members were in the bands like ORCHID, AMPERE, THINK I CARE, RELICS and involved in many others within the latest decade. [refuse records]

csmd "cosmic noise adventure" 7"
CSMD's latest effort, recorded in the future and filled with psychotronic sci fi rubber monster noisecore madness!!!, 22 trx total inc. some funky covers from Roger Ramjet, Cantina band and Grind House theme + more!! Juice up your torpedos and get ready to be skull fucked by cosmic rays of sonic violence! Lim. to 200 copies. [no fucking labels]

dogmatist "demo MMXXII" 7"
Raw and pissed off hardcore punk from Denmark. Bombastic and devastating, Copenhagen's DOGMATIST combine the punch to the gut of churning crust with elements of Scandi DBeat and an over-the-top presentation more reminiscent of modern blown out crasher crust acts. Whining vocals raise the hair on your arms, commanding attention and setting them apart from the flock. These dudes know exactly what they are doing. Ex Death Token, Love Potion, Hjertestop to name a few. I hav eboth versions i stock. [crucificados]

enewetak "easy rider session vol. 3" 7"
Enewetak, like its namesake atoll, were an explosive force in 90's hardcore. Their style ran the gamut from grindcore to grooved out sludge. Recorded back on October 31, 2003 and originally slated for release on Crawlspace Records, this three song single finally sees the light of day. [king of the monsters]

eye hate god "new orleans is the new vietnam" 7"
Here it is! The long (did we mention looooong) awaited new track from NOLA's legendary EYEHATEGOD. "New Orleans Is The New Vietnam" is the first new track the band has released since the demo tracks on 2005's ""Preaching The End Time Message" LP and serves as a teaser for what's to come when the band unleashes their upcoming LP. Comes as a 1-sided 7" with a laser etching of the EHG Phoenix on the flipside. [A389 recordings]

folkeiis "destroy agony" 7"
2nd ep of Folkeiis from Nagoya-city. About 3 years since they put out their 1st ep. It's destructive original Finnish hc style. ripping sounds from darkness of insanity, is forming of Folkeiis's satanic hell kaaos! outstanding sense and insane "dark" music are shocking to your brain and heart. Their progressive sounds and actives have possibility of new hardcore punk gate. [hardcore survives]

God's Will "this is god's will" 7"
Man, they don't make them like this anymore! Sweden's SFO Records has unearthed the 1983 demo tape from Norfolk, VA's God's Will. If you picked up the Front Line 7" reissue on Beach Impediment a while back, God's Will is actually pretty much the same band with some of the people shuffled around, and like Front Line they play straight up USHC, '82-style. By the time they recorded this demo the band had matured just a hair, writing slightly more complex riffs and changes, but really this is akin to the transition from Darby Crash Rides Again to Pick Your King... in other words, incremental. Anyway, if you dig vintage early 80s USHC from the south like Clitboys or Catatonics you're gonna flip for this. Lim. to 250 copies. [signaler från ovan records]

hatred surge "purgatory" 7"
Hatred Surge continue their heavy metal evolution with "Purgatory", piecing together the elements from every subfacet of the genre; the dirge, the mother riff, the dynamics. Written and recorded shortly after "Human Overdose", this 7" represents the true core of the Hatred Surge unit; the unbreakable rhythm section of Hughes, Sharp, and Ulsh. The B-side features a cover of "Like Rats" by the legendary, genre bending giant Godflesh. [can o' bees records]

herätys "naen punaista" 7"
The hardcore maniacs Herätys are back but only to say good bye and fuck off. After their ripping debut LP and killer EP they keep it up and bring you 7 more ragers on this EP. Sadly the farewell show of SEEIN RED was also their last live appearance but on vinyl you can get a last fix of this absolute Scandinavian hardcore superiority. [la familia]

hoax "3rd" 7"
HOAX prove again on their 3rd 7" E.P. why they are one of the last bastions of true hardcore spite and genuine danger. Mosh-heavy songs of empowerment and anger are forged using a degraded distillation of vintage Alan Blake style riffing backed with driving, militaristic drums, and the feral anomie typically reserved for a vocalist like Mike IX Williams. Discipline comes from within. Comes in a matchbook style fold-out sleeve with 12 panel poster insert. [painkiller records]

ilegal "callejon sin salida" 7"
Third record from this Canadian band, and what a monstrous disc it is. If you are familiar with previous output by ILEGAL, expect no less. Three tracks of chaotic drumming, insane guitar riffs and vocals desperately spat out. ILEGAL bring us much more than a sound, they evoke a spirit and attitude that pops off the groves of this ep. If you have not heard of this band by now, it is time to get your head out of your ass. PUNK–AS-FUCK! 500 pressed. [lengua armada]

integrity/gehenna split 7"
This 7" pairs up two amazing bands. On the first side of the split Southern California's Gehenna offer up two new songs of ugly metallic hardcore that's as powerful as it is sincere. These two new songs are proof positive why Gehenna has such staying power within the seen since their inception back in 1993. Cleveland, Ohio's Integrity represent the second side of the split and offer up another song of their hard to mistake style of Holy Terror style hardcore that many bands try to replicate, but few bands (if any) measure up to Integrity's caliber as far as talent is concerned. [holy terror records]

iron lung/the process 7"
Three IRON LUNG songs recorded at the Sexless//No Sex session back in '07. These were originally released on a super limited UK tour 7" with Scottish hardcore stalwarts THE PROCESS. In case you are unfamiliar with these Neds they played in some bands that you might be more in touch with like SHANK or STRETCHHEADS. This is a one time remastered reissue in an edition of 500 copies on maroon vinyl with updated FEEDING artwork. [iron lung records]

kromosom "paranoid!" 7"
Formed by members of Pisschrist, Australia's Kromosom take cues from classic Japanese and Scandinavian noise/hardcore/d beat bands to make four blasts of raw punk on this 7". [holy terror records]

mammoth grinder "in&out b/w see me hang" 7"
This is the newest 7" from Austin, TX's Mammoth Grinder features two brand new tracks and is self released by the band. The band delivers a crusty combination of hardcore punk riffs and death metal atmosphere for a pretty abrasive sound.

mauser/post teens split 7"
Post Teens contributed a brand new track, "Strapped In", while Mauser turned in their brutal cover of bombanfall's "Mot En Stralande Framtid." Two short little bursts of fury on one flexible record. Artwork was crafted by the Mauser's always tasteful and eloquent Adrian Rierson. [sound study records]

napalm death "live in tokyo" 7"
this live recording from Tokyo is, I believe, the last one before Lee Dorrian and Bill Steer left the band. It is, therefore, a vital piece of history for Napalm diehards (like myself). Seriously, there's little more to say about it - any alternative versions of tracks from the days of Scum and From Enslavement To Obliteration are always welcome, and this recording is a fine addition to anyone's collection.

nekromantiker/csmd split 7"
NEKROMANTIKER are noisepunk freaks from Dutchtopia doing 3 punk rocking noise hits for fans of CONFUSE, GAI and DISORDER VS. outer space weirdo's CSMD with part 2 of their brainless live performance on Alpha Centauri, this record contains more noise than a humanoid can handle!!! LMTD 200 copy!! [no fucking labels]

no tolerance "no remorse, no tolerance" 7"
NO TOLERANCE storm through with 6 songs of Boston straight-edge. For fans of old Boston hardcore, featuring members of THE RIVAL MOB and MIND ERASER. [youngblood records]

perikato "jälkiteollinen painajainen" 7"
Finlands PERIKATO plays tight in your face hardcore punk with the scandinavian roughness and the italian urgency and passion. This ep has 10 tracks clocking just under eight minutes! [raakanaama records]

peroxide "can you hear the sound pf peace" 7"
Blown out PDX hardcore [distort reality]

rakosi "olasyliszka" 7"
Short, raging sounds all the way from Hungary. This is one tight, fucking record with no time for bullshit, to the point and aggressive as hell. You don’t speak Hungarian? It doesn’t matter, you will understand angst and fury no matter what tongue it is in. RAKOSI bring us their 2nd 7" on Lengua Armada and this shit kills. Limited to 500 items. [lengua armada]

strange factory "fukushima nightmare" 7"
FUCK YOU WE'RE FROM FUKUSHIMA! Anti-Nuke and Anti-Nuclear Plant. Oppressed scream and shout from Fukushima. Their 2nd 7"ep after various split and comp tracks. They play ferocious Avskum style D-beat raw punk noize thrash! Absurdity, anger and sadness. It's not poser this is real rebel music. All of lyrics and artworks are cutting enemy's throat of me and you. It's no T.V. sketch! [hardcore survives]

trench rot "tyrant" 7"
Latest and greatest 7" from these So Cal HC warriors. Rejecting the more traditional d-beat approach the band injects a huge amount of early USHC influence into their Discharge-tinged riffs, bringing to mind trailblazers such as the legendary Poison Idea. They are not simply paying homage though, they are jumping out from the pack of trendy d-beat and rehash HC to bring a record with an incredibly powerful sound and incredibly catchy songs. On this recording they have stayed away from the "raw ponx" trend that is sweeping Los Angeles and instead opted for a brighter and cleaner recording to capture the power that these juggernauts have. [video disease records]

vaginors "total nonsense" 7"
If you haven't heard the Vaginors you are missing out on some of the catchiest, noisiest, and obnoxiously great noise punk happening in the world right now. Their LP absolutely blew me away and I knew I had to release something for them. This band is head and shoulders above ANY other noise punk band in the world right now. Absolutely GENIUS! Taking the elements of the Swankys to a whole new extreme, the guitar pump out incredibly noisy riffs while the drums and bass bounce around with some of the catchiest punk you've ever heard while the thick nasally OZ accent wails and flails his voice to new heights of ridiculousness. [video disease records]

vendetta "fight" 7"
Here comes the 2nd of Vendetta - fight ep since self-released 1st ep in short span. The sounds are still keeping as respectful UK hardcore punk/Beat The System records and speedy offensive attack punk style. add more rockin' and psychedelic guitar riffs from teenage punks Kuro(vo/gu). They're still growing up with various sounds. It's not categorized in just "UK hardcore" style. also They're not cursed by old legends, is trying to play their music. Already playing with so many bands and shows. Feel their "now", play loud or not! Recorded by legendary studio "Our House". [hardcore survives]

venowl "no honour" 7"
"Nightmarish, noise-inflicted doom from IL", with previous cassette only releases on Ivory Antler, Triangulum Ignis and A Terre Records. This two song 7" features the track "No Honour" on one side and a reimagining of it by Iron Forest on the flipside. Limited to 220 copies on grey vinyl. [king of the monsters]

3 tracks from Sea of Shit (powerviolence from Chicago, IL), 5 from Water Torture (bass and drums powerviolence from Buffalo, NY). Limited to 500. Black & white two-fold jacket/insert, black vinyl housed in a black paper inner sleeve. [diseased audio records]

water torture/the downgoing split 7"
Split EP from Buffalo's Water Torture and thedowngoing from Australia in support of their joint North American Tour. Noise infested bass violence collides with screeching grind assaults from down under in short incendiary bursts. [nerve altar]

zatsuon "violent noiz life" 7"
NYC Noize Crusters! This 7" is Gloom worship/crasher crust done right. Zatsuon crashes harder than most crasher crust bands, particularly in the way in which they don't just fall into the lazy trap of sounding like straight Discharge style d-beat. You get another instant, modern classic punk record from NYC. [distort reality]

12" records

d-clone "creation and destroy" lp
The future of noisecore is here. After two EP’s and several splits, D-CLONE have delivered their debut LP with the absolutely devastating CREATION AND DESTROY. From the first drum hit to the final scream, this record is above anything else in its genre. 11-tracks of absolutely over-the-top noise not music. Building on the strengths of their previous releases, D-CLONE crank up the intensity and give you one of the most blown out, fierce and groundbreaking releases to come out of Japan in the last decade. The production is above and beyond any of their peers and only adds to the ear piercing chaos that blasts its way from start to finish. This LP shows D-Clone at the top of their game and solidifies their spot as one of the most dedicated and passionate noisecore bands ever. Welcome to the new age of noise. [agipunk]

direct control "you're controlled"lp
After their already georgious debut 7", D.C evolved into the epitome of 83 reagan era HC with a sound all of their own though. The talent just drips all over from this platter!. Super guitar work thats so fuckin melodic and fast, a desperate youthfull screamer, that cries frustraton from every vain. tight drum and bass work. Fuck this is the soundtrack for years to come for punk/hc kids! Clenched fists/black eyes haha, destined to be a classic. [kangaroo records]

dischange "seeing feeling bleeding" lp
Dischange was a hardcore punk band from Sweden. They were active from 1989 to 1993, when they changed their name to Meanwhile. This is a very worthy reissue of this now 20 year old classic. Lim. to 600 copies, remastered by Kenko, 180g black vinyl + poster and patch. [dtakt & råpunk]

herätys "s/t" lp
Hailing from south of Sweden, this band just owns so fucking much. They sound like a mix between Totalitär from Sweden and snotty 80's Finnish rawpunk! Simple riffs and just straight in your face d-beat hcpunk, you gotta love it.

meth drinker "s/t" lp
Raw, agressive and disturbing sludge from New Zealand! With this record, Meth Drinker takes it to a new level og grimness and despair! This one is a must have for all you who enjoy pure oldschool sludge!! [raw birth records]

artwork & lyrics. [dtakt & råpunk]

scapegoat lp
One of my favorite active powerviolence bands, shit rips hard. Kinda sounds like the guys have strayed from the Crossed Out formula and have really come into their own on this one. Anyone who likes punk, hardcore, or grind of any sort can get into this record. It is everything I love about all of those genres: loud, fast, and pissed. [painkiller records]

spazz "la revancha" lp
Next up in the series of legitimate SPAZZ reissues is their "La Revancha" LP originally released on Sound Pollution in 1995. This LP marked a new point in SPAZZ's development - they had found their signature sound and tried to push this to its extreme. 20+ minutes of crazed Bay Area power violence with a CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER cover to boot. [625 records]

v/a las 4 bandas lp
Leuzemia (3 tracks), Escuela Cerrada (4 tracks), Autopsia (4 tracks), Guerilla Urbana (5 tracks). First released as a cassette in 1985, this comp features multiple tracks from 4 legendary Peruvian bands. This is first-wave punk out of the Americas and has some serious attitude. Pulled from the master reels this aged recording comes with all its original energy and crude spirit intact. Already a boom box classic that has gathered generations of fans, this record is a must. 500 copies pressed. [lengua armada]

tapes

The Ropes "always nothing" tape
Showing no sign of slacking off, THE ROPES continue their astounding legacy on their third cassette, “Always Nothing”. With seeming effortless command they reveal not only their capability of classic rock by interweaving random interlude renditions of James Gang’s "The Bomber", but stamp out everything in their path with some of their most forceful anthems yet. Features black chrome cassette tapes in meticulous, handcrafted fold over pocket box covers and inserts. Always nothing, always none! [youth attack]

The Ropes "vietnam II" tape
On their fourth cassette release, THE ROPES let loose another turbulent whirlwind of caustic urban hardcore with lyrics of isolated life on the fringes and riffs that hearken a timeless adolescent enthusiasm before everything went horribly wrong. Initially self-released in an edition of 100 cassettes on a weekend summer tour, the original 4 track tapes have been fully revamped and remixed by Ian Jacyszyn (VEINS, SUBURBANITE) for maximum force, including a jaw dropping version of "22 Going On 23" by BUTTHOLE SURFERS. Presented on black chrome cassettes in meticulous, handcrafted fold over flap box covers and inserts. [youth attack]

Pick Your Side “Snake and Ladders” 7”
a crushing hardcore band featuring Jeff Beckman (vocalist for Haymaker and guitarist for Left For Dead among other notable bands) and also featuring members of metal/grind stalwarts Fuck The Facts. There are faster straightforward hardcore/powerviolence songs that bring to mind the aforementioned singer's previous band Haymaker, a few more metallic/melodic songs with a crusty influence coming forward, and also a few ridiculously heavy slower songs usually built around a single crushing riff. It's clear from the top notch performance on this record that Beckman's time away from fronting a band hasn't caused him to miss a beat and he sounds better then ever. All fans of hardcore/grind/powerviolence owe it to themselves to check out this out ASAP.

pissheads "kill hippie system" 7"
Raw fucking crust punk from RVA, This is a re-record of their much hyped "8 track demo" tape on vinyl, mastering done by Jack Control. raw nerve "every problem solved" 7"
Chicago hardcore legends RAW NERVE have gone out burning down the whole city with this final four song frenzy to top off one of the most uncompromising runs in recent hardcore history. Eschewing the reassurance of sing-alongs and melodies, RAW NERVE fixates on the insular world of loneliness and the search for meaning by tearing apart all falsehoods with a bitter vengeance. This is combustive, youthful hardcore at its finest. Features heavy tip on " jackets, 8 page photo booklets, and thick vinyl. [youth attack]

violent future "s/t" 7"
Debut 7" from these Canadian jerks, 4 songs of straight up neanderthal HC/OI. In my opinion this blows the demo out of the water, which is no small feat. This record just seems so much more focused. This fucker set the bar high for year end "best of" records. [slasher records]

Zyanose "isolation" 7"
Latest 7" from this well-known Japanese noise punk band. Like their contemporaries in Isterismo and D-Clone, Zyanose seem determined to stomp right past the typical constraints of the "noise punk" subgenre and push toward something much more interesting and expansive. While the textures here are undeniably noisy and the rhythms undeniably fast, the songs have a lot going on and a real sense of dynamism. Excellent stuff. Distort Reality Records

ancestors "III" lp
ANCESTORS III consummates their trilogy with nine hymns to the phantom of Death. Steeped in atmosphere and violence, each track builds only to topple into devastating collapse. Showcasing a focused clarity of both sound and composition to transport the listener into an otherworldly realm, this recording culminates their genre melding of raw hardcore and lofi black metal and careens with an agonized velocity as if each moment is more painful than the last. Features full color gloss laminated jackets and euro sleeves and pressed to heavy white vinyl in an edition of 333 copies. [youth attack]

antimob "s/t" lp
This is an absolutely crushing effort by this long running Greek hardcore band. The songs on this lp seem to flow as some kind of continuous hardcore journey or something it just keeps moving, never letting up. No copycatting, gimmicks, trend following or tribute bullshit on this tape. Just pure, honest, passionate hardcore punk with galloping drums, tense/memorable riffs, a gritty and convincing vocal attack and an underlying darkness lurking throughout every song. There is nothing pretentious or superficial here. If you are looking for some generic D-beat, noise-not-music “raw” punk, goth/darkwave throwback, INFEST worship, bands singing in languages they don’t know just ’cause their favorite bands sing in it, "anarcho" bands who aren’t anarchists, or any of the other stale, overdone sub genres of punk, look elsewhere. [self released]

[tardis]

dispose "horror revival" lp
Sweden's main disnoise råpunk troop unleash this 8 track 12" after a bunch of cd-r releases, split 7"s and a split LP with Kranium - and it's great as expected. Raw as fuck. [dtakt & råpunk]

Final Draft "West world order" LP
After a 7" and 2 split 7"es, Grindcore gods of Inglewood to produce a full length with some fierce and raw blasting-violence not unlike DESPISE YOU. Inglewood's self-proclaimed deathcore band is back, this time with much cleaner recordings of much more pissed off mega-fast hardcore. Angry, fast. Watch out, these guys will creep up and destroy you. "Inglewood, Inglewood, always up to no good." 17 tracks incl. a SPAZZ cover.

glam "veneno en sus flechas" lp
Two and a half years on from their debut 6 track EP, Barcelona's GLAM return with a 9 track mini album. It's a crushing assault on the ears and mind. The recording is a perfect mixture of clarity and rawness. The growling distorted bass drives the sound on top of relentless drumming and fuzzed out and feedback drenched guitar work that's part classic japanese hardcore and part 'Ungobernable Force' era CONFLICT. GLAM are noisy, chaotic and explosive and each track rages with anger and intensity. [la vida es un mus]

hoax "s/t" lp
buzzsaw guitars, bludgeoning drums, and breakdowns that scream "kiss me on my bloody head". they are the defenders of true hardcore spite and genuine danger. Mosh-heavy songs of empowerment and anger are forged using a degraded distillation of vintage Alan Blake-style riffing backed with driving, militaristic drums, and the feral anomie typically reserved for a vocalist like Mike IX Williams. this lp compiles their 3 7"es and the song from their split 7" with sewn leather and a track from their s/t tape. [adagio830]

isterismo "folia verso l'interno" lp
Belonging to the generation of Japanese kids that started bands in the early 2000s inspired by the legends of Japanese 1990s hardcore punk such as Gloom, Disclose, CFDL and Frigöra, Isterismo is today one of the most important contemporary Japanese hardcore punk bands and one that continues to firmly put Japan at the very top of the worlds hardcore punk scenes. The one word that best describes this recording is not noise, as many may expect, but finesse. You will hear finesse in the expert guitar play, with subtle solos and riffage hidden in the high distortion and messy chaos, drum rolls are complex while the bass guitar is crisp and loud. For sure, this is the most important Japanese hardcore punk LP since the Kriegshög LP. [la vida es un mus]

Lotus Fucker "Forever my fighting Spirit" LP
Lotus Fucker is a four piece band from Washington DC/Baltimore Maryland who formed in 2010. Lotus Fucker play a raw, ugly, and visceral style of noise damaged hardcore/punk influenced by bands such as Gauze, Terveet Kadet, Wretched, LipCream, and Confuse. Forever My Fighting Spirit is the band's debut LP which was released via Katorga Works, SPHC, and RSR records on December 3rd 2012. Overall, these ten songs are ugly, abrasive, and brutal as fuck. Overall, Lotus Fucker is a must listen for fans of Hoax, Aerosols, Pollution, and Grids. Another killer release by Katorga Works / RSR / SPHC, heavy cardboard cover incl OBI.

martyrdöd "paranoia" lp
European press of this one. The latest LP from this Swedish band that mix blackened crust and thrash, black metal influences in a way that not everyone can pull off and still make it sound this powerful. Dark, brutal, urgent, raw, intense, crushing... It's got that killer unmistakable Martyrdöd sound! [dtakt & råpunk]

the wankys "knock one out" lp
Third LP by these lovely arseholes. A little less noisy than past efforts, and a little more silly. Three English gentlemen, ex-members of all your favorite UK bands, goof off and have a bit of pervy old guy fun. But despite all the silliness, they manage to write both really catchy mid-tempo snotty punk anthems and really chaotic, harsh short/fast/loud hardcore numbers that capture their noise spirit. Obviously to be filed next to your Swankys records, but I think the Wankys have found their own noise-punk niche in the past few years, developing their own unique sound, style, and attitude unlike any other. I guess that's what the insight of age/experience can give you. [sphc]
