A review was posted on VOICES FROM THE DARKSIDE Webzine: This is the first time that I listen to this band and I couldn’t find any information on them other than their Visceral Circuitry Records label. But PEASANT GOD’s music is very heavy with guttural vocals. It’s kind of Sludge-ish. I think this is the type of music that a serial killer would listen to when he’s doing his business. I don’t know if the drummer is a human or a machine. But it has some double bass drums at some points that doesn’t seem humanly possible. I don’t know if this a full release or an EP since it’s just four songs and two kind of preludes in between them. I can easily believe that this album can be a soundtrack for a slasher film. It is that aggressive and menacing. Jeffrey Dahmer would love this band. This is unlike anything that I ever heard before in my life. If you’re into Sludge Metal you would probably love this. If you’re not into Sludge or Industrial Metal, stay away from this before you get the urge to cut yourself for pleasure. https://www.voicesfromthedarkside.de/re ... -god-null/ |
